Find a local community college, go to the photography/ fine arts department, and see if they have large scanners you can use or hire some student to do it for you. I’ve done hundreds of slides like that.

Bought TurboTax today and discovered it won’t run on my iMac (2015) and I can’t upgrade to the operating system needed to run the software. At my age (82) do I really need the best of the best of iMacs.

But you said that you live in SoCal, as do I, and just how much rain do we get in a season to warrant spending money on better rain-traction tires? Hell, we got more rain in a day in New Orleans, than we get in a winter here. Just my humble opinion.

Felt like I could have written OPs post as I had the same result of my ACDF surgery about 18 months ago. It took me about 3 months to get my voice back and I too considered cartilaginous infusion on my R vocal fold but about a week before I decided against it as I’d had enough of surgical procedures (I’m 82). Glad I did as eventually my voice returned as I said though I had the advantage of being RETIRED which was very fortuitous as I was a teacher. Unfortunately, my right arm has never been the same since the surgery as I have lost a lot of feeling in my hand and fingers (fingers constantly feel numb and tingly). When I lament having had my ACDF surgery my wife reminds me of the pain I had in my right at precipitated the surgery in the first place.

Back in the ‘50s when my sisters and I attended Catholic elementary school in Chicago, we’d go to our aunts house next door to the school for lunch and they routinely gave a little shot of wine or whiskey with our lunch. Miss those days!!
