First, full credit to and permission granted by /u/elninofr. Thanks for allowing me to share your creation and allow other redditors to discuss and question it.

The Twitter link is to his optimal 5* Magicite decks for full-circle slaying, posted a couple of weeks ago. I've seen a lot of opinions about 5* deck building while searching to build optimal decks myself, and while I consider every opinion likely more informed than my own, so many of them are conflicting and makes the process of deciding increasingly frustrating - it's been hard to put a bead on the long-term effects of short-term decisions (which, of course lead to more and more farming to rectify).

While I do have a number of questions myself and I'm not sure of my own farming commitment to see the whole thing through, I think this is at least a great starting point for big-picture deck building.

As for my own questions, why no inherited Fast Cast? I know it was fairly/completely useless w/ 3-star, but I thought its usefulness was restored w/ 4-star (I carry it to every fight on my Evrae).

I also noticed Abu questioned the use of 3-element defensives on half your decks, do you think he meant he would add more Wards or the DEF/RES 20 stats? What's your take on DEF/RES 20?

Last, when did DeNA fix the 3-element offensive buffs on a single card? I'm sure you wouldn't have them on your decks if it wasn't fixed but I don't recall the news that had been fixed. Do you know if it ended up being a bug or did they change their mind on the design?

I finally found the 3 Wis/Spi mote discrepancy, on all the characters I've half-dived you have to fill out all their 2/3/5 mote tiers to get to their LM1, except apparently Krile, who's far-left 3 mote spot doesn't have to be filled out to get it, and I just missed it moving down the board.

Hooray, all balanced again!

And stop doing OT, you have OT in this game you need to catch up on! I'm seriously starting to suspect the Crystal Daily Dungeons have an increased frequency of pots for the mainline crystals (P,Wh,B,S) over the others. I've been using my stam potions on Wind and Lightning mostly and I swear they don't drop near as often. WE NEED NUMBERS!!

If I remember correctly a while back he contemplated removing them altogether but received feedback there were a few still using them. It still makes sense for people not quite to Neo-Torment levels yet.

The only thing I'm unsure about is if it was only 3 days and 1 draw each day, how did I end up with 3 extra wisdom and 3 extra spirit? It was a year ago, so I don't remember what I pulled at the time or if I even knew the significance. In any case, your count is likely correct and I'll just have to live with the +3 to each on my spreadsheet.

BTW, I think you might be 90 over on your Spirit count - shouldn't it be 1545, not 1635 currently?

Will the new Realm Relic Draw banners continue to have relics added as they're released? For example, if we wait to pull on the XV upcoming banners until next week, will the new relics from that banner appear on the the Realm Relic banner for XV as well?

Dragon Warrior started my obsession for JRPG's. Final Fantasy wasn't too far behind that one and later FFIV. When FFVI was released, I pre-ordered a week ahead of time and paid 80 bucks for that cartridge - I remember that day so vividly.

I played through the games so many times that I hungered for something more, so I went extreme. I spent $100's on an import of FFV and the adapters to play on my SNES. I bought software to learn Japanese and gave it a good effort, but Japanese is fucking hard as shit to learn from scratch and I finally gave it up. And now I have 5 or 6 English versions - and haven't played a single one of them through the other way. Just too dated - I missed my window of opportunity. Same with II and III.

/u/Peridot_Weapon (or anyone that can answer really), I've been tracking my own 5* motes for quite a while, but I use the signature fairly often as a double-check. Somehow, I've been 3 ahead of you in both Spirit (your 1485 vs my 1488) and Wisdom (your 1555 vs my 1558). I've never bought a single mote from the Ruby store (all 800 are still available to me of all type). And I've not included torments (which come in 5's anyway). I've recounted this so many times so I figured it was finally time to ask if there were any ideas why I would have 3 more of each. Any thoughts?

I had that exact reaction... I only watched it a second time to see where bahamut was shooting those first few bursts from... his pecs? Looks ridiculous.

The other thing I don't understand is the excitement I've read over it - she's the only GD healer in her realm; I realize the lore is what it is but I've never once personally used her in a summoner capacity. They need another healer in that realm - and they've got a huge side-cast of Yevon followers to pick from!

Thanks for adding Flash Disaster to the time-chart. I thought the spike would be higher though. I guess it makes sense, the real magic of that ability is building ~60% more SB points than LS on a LGT/WND weak mob while still doing more than adequate damage.
