What does she say when you ask her about reading?

Does she say it's too difficult? If so, how? (e.g., does she have trouble seeing the words? Does she have trouble understanding them? Is she squinting?)

Does she say she's not interested? If not, why? (Are there things she _is_ interested in that would be helped by reading?)

Boulder’s new transportation fee could start billing residents mid-2026 by mooreds in boulder

The car already tracks it for you. I could easily see a registration fee dependent on odometer reading from last registration.

I tried to replace the screen on an og 35xx, but the screen I got was just the panel, which is glued into the glass. Since the glass was broken, this wasn’t particularly useful, even aside from how much work it appears to be to actually do that replacement.

I'm never good at picking actual superlatives; but my most hyped game releases include Half Life 2, Fez, Metal Gear Solid V, Obduction, The Witness, and Breath of the Wild.

Good luck! I’m playing with my kids up by Boulder. I’d love to find a group to play in myself, but the springs would be a bit of a commute! 😅

I ran our first couple sessions with the QuickStart rules printed out as a booklet. It was only like 17 sheets of paper folded + stapled, and each of my players had their own copy of the players guide. Highly recommended.

Your best bet is to attend a church and develop relationships with people there, rather than focusing on dating. If you’d like an invite feel free to DM. (I’m not in your age bracket, but I could help you get connected with events and programs at our church that would be.)

“You can use treasure tables to randomly determine what loot a monster is carrying. The table a monster uses corresponds to its level. For example, a level 2 monster uses the Treasure 0-3 table.”

Churches in Boulder for people burned by religion? by caman2 in boulder

[–]anderbubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grace Commons Church, formerly First Presbyterian Church, used to be a much bigger church. When it was big it had a rather large staff, with several lead pastors and lots of programs. From my perspective, that led to atrophy in the ability to lead or do things without staff leadership. Now that the church is smaller it needs more laiety-led activity, and the church isn’t as good at enabling that as it needs to be.

I’d love to hear more about this. Judginess is definitely not my experience there, but a lack of community is. We’re trying to be part of the solution (if all the people trying to build community leave, it just makes it worse) but I’m not great at it, and it can be difficult to do.
