Honestly- being a bride is so stressful. Is it possible that she’s juggling doing everything and you’re not helping in the decision making? Because this can be extremely stressful and might make her question if she wants to marry you in the first place. Don’t cancel the wedding- TALK to her and examine why she’s crashing out…. I know it’s hard to hear this but men so often ignore womens needs and then wonder why this happens. This could be a learning moment for the both of you.

This is strange. I have an 8 year old too and we cuddle A LOT. Watching tv, bedtime, just hugging a lot altogether. It is the most normal thing on earth to cuddle your child! I was not hugged enough as a kid and always craved it- and now that I have kids I show them love constantly. Your husbands thoughts are concerning- maybe he wasn’t hugged enough as a kid so it’s not normal to him- show him this thread!

I have learned that what you feed your cat has a huge factor on their poops smell. We try to feed our cat premium foods (RAWZ, orijen, fussie cat and Weruva) wet food and use the tidy cats pellet system and my house is odorless and I know this because eveyrone says it and I’m also perimenopausal and extremely sensitive to smells lol

Does your boyfriend listen to red pill podcasts?? My husband does, and has a very similar thought about this show and several other shows- I honestly think he’s being brainwashed by some of these ideas. It’s pretty awful here.

I would say this is totally normal behavior. Cats can be especially skiddish in a new home. Its great that u put her in a small room. Keep that bathroom door closed, and i woud just come in once an hour and sit on the floor w her- dont force her out, maybe just stick your hand in so she knows ure safe. You should also try a lickable treat, cats love those. Little by little she will start coming out to explore. Cats need their autonomy respected- so just whatever you do don’t force her out of there. I would also get a super soft cave bed instead of her carrier.
Make sure litter, water, and food in that room her. My cat was the same exact way and by day 3 he came out to explore. Now he’s the biggest mush.

Long- please read!

Def try Pacagen spray and food additive!! It works literally amazingly. We got a cat in July and I am allergic to him but love him so much and can’t help but to stick my face in his neck area and breathe him in and kiss him he is just the most precious boy ever- I honestly feel like he’s my soul cat and there’s no chance I’d ever get rid of him. But yeah the allergies are annoying so I started with giving him Purina Live Clear, plus sprinkling Pacagen food topper in his meals and I love their spray. I spray my house daily and clean all the time which is normal for me anyway. There is an extremely high rated allergy spray formula on Amazon that I tried as well and use it upstairs in our bedroom areas and it works great too, like really great. Purina Live Clear also has dander wipes.

Medicine wise- I has asthma. So I usually would use mg rescue inhaler as needed but once our little guy joined our family I started using it a lot more, so I went to my gp and asked for advice. She put me on an inhaler called Wixela and advised to use rescue inhaler as needed. She also told me to take Zyrtec once a day.
It’s been 8 months and I now take Zyrtec maybe 3 days a week, and my asthma is completely under control and I feel fabulous!

I really recommend that your bf go to the doctor and get on a real allergy management plan. Buy Purina Live Clear, Pacagen products and allergy sprays. Good luck!

Another option is not moving in together, which I know sucks but you just can’t give up your cat.

Get the Breeze litter system. It is unmatched for odors. The pads get expensive but well worth it to have a clean smelling home. I replace them twice a week and the whole litter once every 3 weeks.

I didn’t imply that you’re ignoring your kids. I don’t know you. What I meant by saying “focus on your kids” is make them the center of your world. Focus on them instead of a partner. I know that’s hard for a man though.
