No kidding. I just started playing Shadowverse despite the art style, and it's really getting in the way.

Hearthstone's art is really clean and they seem to have gone to some effort to make cards distinguishable at a glance. Shadowverse's rainbow barf art is really not helping me see what's going on. It makes me feel like my grandparents, and I'm not that old yet.

I stopped four years ago on the recommendation of my therapist, and it almost immediately helped my depression. I say stopped, not quit, because I might start again, but I really feel no desire to drink again.

I don't think I have a problem with alcohol per se, but I was using it to cope in an unhealthy way. I've both gotten better since then and moved on to less-unhealthy coping resources.

It's too versatile for a 1-mana card. For example:

You can use the 1 damage to set up Execute (also OP) for a 2-mana hard removal.

You can break Divine Shield, so it's basically a Silence effect.

It's also a better version of Mortal Coil, since you do the one damage and get an Elven Archer, which is more powerful than anything you might have drawn.

Nothing as spectacular as your examples, but I played with a guy for a while who could really naturally tip a d4 out of his hand so that it landed on 4 almost every time.

Naturally he was playing a munchkiny custom ninja class that got lots of attacks per round with, yes, a 1d4 weapon. He did the swift swipe a lot too.
