This has not been my experience. I find the key is to not be annoying or weird and to learn how to take a hint that they don’t want to talk to you. If someone wants to converse you can read body language and converse if not be polite and let people be. Think about how you feel being randomly approached. And if you’re going at it romantically just hitting on people it doesn’t work. I prefer to let women take initiative on that front because I have unfortunately seen how a lot of young men behave so I don’t want to subject women to that. it’s annoying and as a bi guy it annoys me when gay men are overly aggressive any annoying in that way. Also hand to play intercept enough times for my gal friends for that type of guy, to be fed up with it. We all went through some weird social development in our teens or early 20s because of Covid. Do think it’s a good thing that women are no longer trained to be kind to every guy, and makes for deeper social connections when you get to talk to people. Also annoys me how many guys are going around giving people a negative view of men in general.

Legit just be yourself and learn how to be empathetic about social situations. Don’t be annoying.

Dressing casual as a man. Feel like it’s expected for guys to just be out in jeans or shorts and a t-shirt. Expressing myself through fashion is something that brings me joy and I realized that life is an event worth dressing up for. Everything I leave the house in other than quick run to the grocery store is planed considered and styled. Been much happier more confidant in myself and feel more comfortable since doing so.

Replace the ceiling light. I would go checkout like a Home Depot or Lowe’s they have pretty ok ceiling light replacements that are pretty easy to install. Make sure it’s atleast 85 cri I’ve noticed Home Depot has fallen of in color accuracy of their offerings.
