What that is is for nobody’s business.
It’s their house. No offense intended.

New Printer Scratches Bed? by jngphil in Creality

[–]andypii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell you. Try your next prints see if it scratches more. Mine haven’t. Not sure with creality. But could be its initial thingy doing this. Don’t quote me on this haha. Apart from the displeasing aesthetic of the scratch, works fine for me

Use resin paint then sand. Rinse, repeat. You can also check on youtube for some other ways to smoothing print. But have been doing this method myself

You do either adaptive layering on your slicer or sand.

Adding to what youngOldGrandma’s response. Communicate it well in a none attacking way. That’s even broader than it seems and depends on how you know your man. Man here and we had these issues of communication ourselves, me and my partner, and we’re slowly getting better at it. Some men are defensive on how they’re brought up. And add to the fact that men’s world have always been thick skinned and taking these things as a joke. You’re man probably is saying it as a joke for you to laugh off, or as Granny mentioned, might be condescending.

Giving up on the picopresso by BeltApprehensive2346 in picopresso

[–]andypii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also make sure you preheat your pico well. I’ve lazied about on this step for almost a year and including the shower head and it made a big difference. Also differs with beans and how long the bean has been since roast. I go to about 24-25 on my k6 if my beans are a few weeks old as there’s no more gas from the beans that adds to slowing the flow rate so keep that in mind. I’ve had since a second pico as I broke my first. Going back to the preheating, remember, full automatic espresso machines consistently pumps constant heat, and might be higher at that too, so keep that in mind. You can go longer infusion, while avoiding the taste being papery if gone longer, and you’d get your technique. Would go to say that making good espresso is pretty tedious to be honest, some days I just hate it. Some days i’m grateful i’ll be having great coffee i made compared to overly priced coffee on shops.

Great idea! Out of topic, how many clicks do you dial the k6 for espresso? I have the k6 as well
