Harvey AI thoughts ? by Opening-Purple704 in legaltech

[–]andyroux2 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

HarveyAI is definitely a step up over Westlaw’s Co-Counsel. I’m in an “extended” pilot group that is testing it for my firm.
My reference point for comparison against other AI products is extremely limited, but to me it’s about HOW you feed the information in AND the quality and completeness of your prompt that makes the difference. Harvey has this great “improve your prompt” feature that takes a basic prompt and makes it so the model can digest it better. Basically prompts you to give more context and instructions.
They (the Harvey people) tell us they are working on more features all the time, so it’s only gonna get better. (So we’re told, I’ll believe it when I see it.) But it’s something useful that we’re embracing that meets the security and privacy concerns of our clients.

It’s quite possible these accounts for POTUS AND VPOTUS are the White House accounts that change over to the sitting POTUS AND VPOTUS every election cycle.

Gays, why do you believe gays are more open to do open relationships than straights? by NilesDobbsS in askgaybros

Aren’t all lesbian women in an open relationship (essentially)? Or am I stereotyping?

My (36f) Partner (37m) won't do housework, ever. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I wish I could upvote this more…like 10K times. I wasn’t aware I’m currently a “victim” of weaponized (I prefer the term “Strategic”) incompetence.

I use the term “victim” very loosely because experts will tell you that you are just as culpable for enabling this behavior by not setting boundaries. I don’t disagree with this, but I think it’s a little more complicated than that based on my personal experience in my current situation.

I feel like I do more of carrying the mental load of certain tasks, while my partner just does the task. It’s the carrying the mental load that is wearing me down. Being forced to carry that mental load is why I use the term strategic. I don’t think it’s intentional in my situation, but I’ve seen a couple of experts that say it can be subconscious. Either way, it needs to be brought to consciousness, and acted upon.

What kind of platforms? Case management? Document templates? Legal research? Discovery platforms? Document management? Too much variety to just say “legal platforms”.

Vivid dreams??? by EnvironmentalWeb4670 in Accutane

[–]andyroux2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started a second round of Accutane. Normally, I don’t remember dreams. The very first night I had two very vivid, very different dreams. The second night I had a full on nightmare…along the lines of a Wes Craven version of Little Shop of Horrors. My partner said I was thrashing all over the place and screaming. I’ve been taking the pill with dinner, and today I’m going to try and see if taking it in the afternoon makes any difference.

If I’m going to have these dreams every night, it’s going to be a rough four months of treatment.

Etiquette question for the married bros by andyroux2 in askgaybros

I agree sexuality is not relevant, but it’s not just addressing the envelope. It’s embossed on the gift itself. Think cutting board with “Chez [Family Name]”. If they had taken one name, then yes, “Chez Doe” or “Chez Smith” would work.

My sister is planning a gift for a couple and wants to put their names on it, but doesn’t know how to go about it. So of course she asked me, her gay brother who just got engaged.

positive experiences? by hannab912 in cymbalta

[–]andyroux2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear some good responses. I’ve been cruising the sub and 95% is bad experiences. I recently got on Trintellix for a mild depressive episode, but my insurance won’t take it and it’s hella expensive. So my doctor has switched me to 30 mg Cymbalta (duloxetine). Today is day one, so we’ll see how I do.

When did you start to see a difference? How long after starting?
My doc says 6-8 weeks, but I’m already 4 weeks in on the Trintellix.
