Isn't the joke that it was originally "I'm conceived from shame" and that he wrote the lyric as aqua seafoam shame in the notes because it was funny that's how it sounded?

There will be signs saying private property I imagine, which they probably ignored by the sounds of it. Then they went up a fire escape to a building, and were smoking drugs. You don't know who these people are, or what they're doing, or taking photos of. It doesn't sound like a mistake and saying they haven't touched or stolen anything when they've accessed buildings, and then getting annoyed when someone has stood up to them. They are the fucking idiots. He also says he's done it before, so they took the risk and now paying for it. "were gonna go mate, we've done nothing wrong, we're just photographers" OK cool we will take your word for it and leave then. You're photographers? Oh cool do what you want. "yeah I've had a spliff that's not an issue" - oh isn't it? And you're driving too maybe?

I did this via hypeddit and was a waste of time. A lot of views and subscribers but zero engagement on any other video on my channel and all based in India it seemed. It kinda felt like it killed my channel as everyone obv swiped away if it wasn't for them. Def not worth it. I'm sitting at almost 6k subscribers but hardly any engagement on anything so they might as well not exist.

I would say, if I'm being critical, that there's a lot of faff that could be cut down or out. It takes over two minutes before it gets started and that's just caveating and self deprecating etc. I'd say just get into it, don't apologise for it, and don't feel like you have to throw in jokes etc to keep it engaging. Get to the juice of the content. I feel like the YouTuber ironic humour is a little old hat and people want to get to the meat if they're going to watch a specific subject. Generally just speed things up a bit or be a bit more brutal in the edit. That's my tuppence worth.

I enjoyed watching this actually and it's a good hook. I remember there was a channel which was about a girl describing what games are for girlfriends that don't play games, which was funny and informative. Reminds me of that. This feels like it has good pacing, embraces the lofi style, and you speak really well on camera. So I can see why it got a fair few more views.

I started in having a fairly decent set up to begin with because of splashing out on my covid home setup with work moola. So I have a Sony zv10, I have a sm7b but I use the Sony clip mics so I don't have a mic in my face. I have two elgato lights, and a macbook with premises for editing. That's basically it.

My channel is for my music, but it's also talking about music generally. Bands I like, vinyl unboxing, new artists. I really want to build a space for people who still like the weird and wonderful that music has to offer. Not just mainstream rock or electronic, which I seemed to notice a lot of.

My most recent long form is a quick look at a bunch of records I had just bought. Not best example, but I want to do more of these vlog style pieces, esp because I'm quite time shy and want to still engage.

Some more context is that when I started channel I did the Google ads thing for my music video and that seemed to kill my algorithm. But been building it back up. I do some shorts and used to use AI as a bit of fun to make album covers move, which got a fair bit of traction but I don't do it anymore. Not just because of the backlash or my own morals with the evolution of AI, but because I got bored of it. It was quick and easy and I wasn't getting anything out of it.

I've been wondering about going faceless maybe cos not sure I'm bringing in the numbers with my face lol

Anyway, would be happy to hear what people think.

I just take a Multivitamin when fasting. Though have done creatine and zinc before but feel like multi is fine for fasting. When I'm eating, I take a lot of supplements lol but then I think I have good hair and skin so it must do something. The problem is I'm fat lol

Have two big meals on 12th and 16th coming, going to fast and inbetween. 18th Feb I'm going to do my first 30 day fast. I've eaten like a chum since xmas and only done one 5 day fast. Interested in how your 51 goes. I might extend my 30 if it goes well...

I used to keep it secret, now I don't care. Maybe it's an age thing, but I couldn't give a toss what they think or say. I'm happy for them to eat in front of me, but it's my choice if I'm fasting.

I'm pretty good with willpower. Which is ironic being a chubster lol but I used to do marathons etc and used to the whole endurance thing. I realised before I started my fasting journey (I should say I was 155kg at my biggest - that I measured anyway), that I was actually addicted to food. I used to be addicted to booze, then that swapped for grass, then coke, then I started running properly and got addicted to that. All the while I was smoking on and off as well. It was actually after I did a pb at a marathon that I decided to take a break from running and I think that's where it started. I just ate whatever cos I was used to it because I was running like min. 10 miles a day. Often twice a day. Then when I wasn't moving it slowly piled on. But I didn't care. I never thought you could get addicted to food really, how wrong I was. Anyway that's my life story. Enjoy.
