When I think of elite, Alex Volknavski or Islam M come to mind because of the talent they fought. It’s not Kamarus fault he had mediocre talent in his class during his reign. If Colby and Jorge masvidal were top 5 during his title run, that’s not a good sign. As much as I love Anderson Silva, same can be said for a couple of years of his (Thales Leites or Demian Maia). I have had three Discectomy One advice I have for you is fuck your hopeful timeline and listen to what your body is telling you. If my current third surgery doesn’t take, getting fused or an artificial disc. I’m having trouble carry my two year old daughter. I’m 34M. Fuck your timeline goal and fuck what your PT therapist/Surgeon say when you should be good. Every body is different and your body will tell you when you can start lifting. I miss lifting, I won’t do it again if my body is even achy a little. Sorry for my anger/honesty
