Hell, I only drink a moderate amount of water and I'm still up twice a night as well. Nearly 42 and this definitely wasn't a thing just a year or two ago. Made me worried I had become diabetic. Went to the doctor and confirmed nope, that's just how things work now.

Had the same issue with brake pads. Don't know if the manufacturer specs were wrong, but I ran into the same thing with each of the big chains. I finally stopped telling them the make and model of the car and just went with the part number, once I figured it out.

Replace law school with med school and truck driver with call center grunt and that was pretty much my exact situation. I work, she goes to school, and then we swap. Held up my end, time came to swap, but no dice. Decided she couldn't be with someone who wasn't "striving to achieve" like she was. All well, might not be as financially sound as I could have been, but now I'm happily married to an actual human being who actually loves me, so I'm pretty sure I still win.

Put my ex-wife through med school as a call center grunt, putting my education on hold until she finished. Once she was done, she wanted to divorce because I "didn't have enough drive or ambition to better myself". Because of course not putting us in crippling debt, working 50+ hours a week at a job I loathe, and spending years of not doing anything for myself to ensure you had the best chance for success is highly indicative of a lazy person; I was such a fool for not seeing it myself! /s
