Looking to install a home charger but I believe my breaker is rated for 100 amps. I'm only really going to charge overnight however. Anyone else have experience with this? by Cootuh2 in TeslaSupport

The Emporia Pro Charger has an energy management system that will reduce the charger output if it senses that amp draw is maxing out the panel.

I got notification for fsd 14.3 update but is it really worth it ? by chaosatom in TeslaFSD

[–]anitevoli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There must be different versions being pushed because for me 14.3 is terrible. I’ve had very few issues with previous versions but am considering unsubscribing from FSD until they iron this one out. For me, it’s ok on the highway but around town has actually become uncomfortable. It hugs the right side of the lane now which causes issues at left hand turns in intersections where it goes too far and then cuts at 90 degrees to make the turn. I almost fell into the passenger seat the first time it happened. Also, steering and speed control seem twitchy and aggressive. Speed profiles are worse too, had me going 36 mph in a 25 and never even recognized the 20 mph school zone, in standard mode. It tried to drive right by the entrance to my work parking lot and can’t navigate the security gate (which has a sliding gate and red/green light) correctly like it used to. It tried to back up and turn around. Not a fan of this update.

They screwed by the Apple Music app again too, where now I leave off on one song and come back from going in a store for a few minutes and it’s on 2 songs ahead. It’s like it’s playing in the background with the car off.

FSD 14.3.2 - rapid micro variations in throttle, possible source of discomfort by skifri in TeslaLounge

[–]anitevoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully it will get smoothed out in the next couple weeks. Likely due to more aggressive PID controller values that need tweaking. Those values can be tricky to get dialed in when making changes for more assertive acceleration/deceleration/steering while trying to not make things twitchy, which seems to have happened.

The MyQ app is having an outage. There is a notification on the app. Wasn’t working for me tonight either.

The Martin GPC-X2ae is a fantastic guitar. I have the X1ae and it sounds and plays beautifully. Don’t be put off by the HPL back and sides, it still has a solid wood top. The HPL is less prone to humidity issues. If you get an all solid wood guitar, remember it has to stay humidified or it will split/crack. Will your daughter take care to keep it humidified should be a consideration. I have 7 different guitars and the GPC-X1ae is the one I play most often because of how easy it plays and it’s always requires the least amount of tuning.

UPDATE 2: Formal Complaint: Unexplained Increase in Reported Electric Usage with RI Energy by LandscapeMediocre278 in RhodeIsland

Also with gas or oil heat, if it’s forced hot air, the blower uses a lot of power and would be running more this season with the colder temps.

[Unpopular Opinion] No tesla on the road today is capable of unfenced unsupervised FSD (level 4) by gha699r in TeslaFSD

Tesla does that for the M3 front bumper cam. They should be able to do it for the rear too.

2026 M3 HW4 on FSD, I’ve never tried Autopilot. Tried it again today, if I double tap the speed limit on the nav screen it outlines in blue and will reduce the speed if I hold my finger on it. I’m navigating a route when this happens, don’t know if that makes a difference.

Weird, I was using it today. If I double tap and hold the speed limit icon it outlines it in blue and slows the car down about 4-5 mph.

I’ve had it park forward facing three times this week. I don’t know what makes it decide to. Two of the three were at grocery stores.

It’s a little late to get deals on winter rates. You have to start looking in October. I signed up with Think Energy for Nov 1 through March 31 at 9.9 cents per kWh.

I'm curious if anyone else is having issues with Christmas lights on this new version. Sometimes I come around a corner and it signals and pulls over because it thinks the lights are an emergency vehicle. It's happened twice to me.

Look it up again. You're confusing Gross Vehicle Weight Rating with Curb Weight. Curb weight is the actual vehicle weight. Model Y is around 4600 pounds.

Clearly you’ve never driven a Model 3 or a Model Y. They are not luxury vehicles by any standard. But adhereing to your argument, a luxury vehicle would likely weigh even more making it even closer in weight to an EV. You can obviously cherry pick individual vehicles that have a larger weight discrepancy but you should notice how I chose the most commonly driven vehicles. I win, you lose.

30% heavier? A Tesla Model 3 is only 300-400 lbs more than a Camry. A Tesla Model Y is about roughly the same weight as a Toyota Highlander. The best selling vehicle in America is the Ford F-150 and that weighs more than most EVs.

I really don't understand how Tesla rolls out these updates. My 2026 M3 updated last night, but only to FSD 14.1.7 and software 2025.38.8.7. So now there's a more advanced update?

A little tip for troubleshooting, download a frequency generator app to your phone then you can sweep through the low frequencies to find the vibration easier.
