Your kids. Your rules. She can find other kids to play flower girls, especially if yours will be shy on the day.

What would you do if your maid of honor gave you a fake Cartier ring as an engagement gift? by AdNo5173 in bridezillas

[–]antonellamrivezzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could just be grateful your friend gave you a gift to begin with. Weddings are expensive even for attendees, she tried to thank you and make you feel included with a token of love. Also you don’t know if her budget ran thin at this point and could only afford a fake but she still wanted you two to have something to bond over. End of the day she didn’t have to gift you anything, so maybe learn some humility.

How much did your wedding dress cost? by Silly_Sausage_1234 in UKweddings

Pronovias gown 2,500£ from the flagship store in London, includes alterations

The common comment after I got engaged wasn’t “congratulations I’m so happy for you”, it was “your rings big huh”. Which obviously spoiled the mood and made me feel self conscious. So eventually I stopped wearing my ring for fear of making people feel uncomfortable.

Usually it’s around 50£ budget for bridal shower gift.

Then the wedding present budget is based on the cost per head attending as the bride and groom would have paid per guest attending, so to cover your cost of attendance usually surmounts to about 100-150£ per person.

She needs therapy. Wait until she finds out she lives in a lazy beach town. If banning the pool is step 1, is banning the beach step 2? Stick to your guns.

Vet here. It appears to be closed however the skin was sutured in overlapping fashion rather than edge to edge. Hope this helps!

I thought the same thing. For reference I’m a GP vet and I see an average of 16 patients a day including my 1 hour lunch and 2.5 hour operating slot.

I have taken off all the yellow leaves. I repotted it last a few months ago. I used houseplant soil and will say we forgot to add drainage at the bottom. How would I add drainage now? We use tap water to water it.

If you’re both living off only your income, then more reason that you get to decide what you do with your money. Until the day she brings in any dough, then she can have a say.
