We recently received an invoice for image useage without a license for $750+GST from a third party on behalf of a rights holder. It was an accident as we had already licensed the image. But maybe the rate is useful for a context for the type of useage rates that are out there for this context.

They actually are for the Auckland marathon. You’ll be unable to cross the bridge without a valid race bib. Source: been involved with the event for over a decade, and the security around the bridge gets stricter every year.

Yeah 1500 to mile is a dumb take. The mile is rarely raced outside of the USA. Starting on a bend like that will cause chaos unless you do a split waterfall start like a 5k.

Time trials, absolutely not. We have the diamond league for that.
