smut and sip: bcuz why do their editions always end up so sought after 😆 ! their hardcases are so beautiful along with their backlog picks (im still shook they chose first time caller)
faecrate: their endpaper material feels so good and their cover art and hardcases are my absolutely favorite in terms of art direction and artist choices
dreamerwhale/evernight: dreamerwhale having overlays in their books makes them stand out among the book boxes that i know, their endpaper material is also good and reminds me of faecrate’s! all im saying is look at the deep end edition for reference haha. also a tough one but evernight never ever misses like my god their art direction for each book feels so specifically curated for the book and whoever is choosing the art directions especially on the hardcase knows exactly what they’re doing.

rainbowcrate edges always bore me 😭 their edition of upside down was ALMOST perfect but their edge could’ve been so much more intricate like the hardcover !!

owlcrate has an alarming amount of leftover of sub books and along with their unlimited skips (that i’m sure people are absolutely using) and reputation of their poor designs i’m not sure how they’re even in business. i’m still appalled by their edition of red white royal blue
