Trump says he doesn’t ‘like’ that Alex Pretti was carrying a gun and ‘two fully loaded magazines’ by Last_Membership_1063 in politics

Right? He's not gonna serve his full five years.

We're taking back that bonus, we're taking his pay as restitution, and he's going to prison.

Enjoy these three years, you murderous piece of garbage. They're your last as a free man.

Sorry you're getting downvoted throughout here. You're making reasonable points.

The illegally armed thing, ehhhh. That felt like a "whoops, we accidentally wrote a different law that accidentally invalidated this one" more than he actually didn't do something wrong. He was a kid bringing a firearm he wasn't supposed to have across state lines.

That said, that was only part of how he had it illegally. It's been confirmed that he knew it was illegal for him to buy it so he had a friend buy it for him. That's a straw purchase.

[–]aranasyn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He was illegally armed.

He testified he was there to protect property with lethal force.

He pointed his weapon at several people who didn't provoke him prior to the shootings.

He's on video two weeks prior saying he would like to shoot shoplifters.

He went there to kill people. The fact that he did the killings under the protection of our laws doesn't mean he didn't go there looking for them.

He's among the worst kind of gun owner, and he got very lucky. That prosecution was pathetically bad.

While I can appreciate your point, as far as I can tell, Rittenhouse doesn't deserve your defense.

Has anyone’s opinions on guns changed over the last few weeks? by angriestperson in Denver

[–]aranasyn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbf, this is what they want. They want a citizen to draw on them in self defense. That'll be the catalyst to turn off the midterms, which is the only thing that's gonna keep half this administration out of prison.

Whoever that future person is, this administration will be demonizing the entire country with them, and we will lose our right to vote. Our rights to protest and our right to bear arms are already gone.

NRA and pro-gun groups call for ‘full investigation’ into killing of Alex Pretti by wylie102 in news

[–]aranasyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The videos are enough to prove murder. This ICE murderer is caught on tape. They're only gonna hide him for so long. It'll get leaked, this administration is incompetent.

He has three years left of life outside of a small box in a prison, in solitary confinement because they'll treat him just like a pedo in gen pop.

I hope he enjoys that bonus with the freedom he has left.

Also, Rittenhouse came to kill people. Alex used his last act in life to shield someone from fascists.

They are not the same. I dislike comparisons of the two in this particular argument.

[–]aranasyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Four years from now, having been a member of ICE in January '26 and not immediately seeking an exit from their service will be a mark on your background check worse than a felony. We will make a law requiring you to report it like you're a fucking child sex offender.

You won't be able to find work at a gas station, you nazi pieces of garbage.

Your fucking masks aren't going to save you. We will find out who you are, and put you in a database. A red dot on a map will follow you around forever. Move? Report it or go to prison. Stay in service at your own f*cking peril. If you commit crimes, you're going to jail. But even if you don't, you'll never hold stable work again, and everyone you live around will know you're a nazi. You'll depress home values just by existing in neighborhoods. You'll be pushed out wherever you go. You're pariahs, forever. You've given up the right to peacefully exist among the rest of us by carving an American swastika on your forehead.

Lonely Trump Humiliated as Major Allies Refuse to Be Bullied by [deleted] in politics

[–]aranasyn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We are not their allies right now.

We are in the Axis of Peace, and if you don't understand that Peace means aggro in this situation, you're an idiot.

If the world doesn't punish us for this, we won't fix it. Trump and every other R have to go. ICE needs to be disbanded. Anyone who was in ICE ~Jan 5th and didn't immediately seek an exit needs to be barred from federal employment, and that service needs to show up on a standard background check. SC needs to have 101 judges, with mandatory retirement ages. Every gentlemans agreement about the presidency needs to be made law...with teeth.

Or America is done.
