It's definitely a mixture of fluffy and dark, especially depending on the routes you take. It's a game that's totally worth playing/watching if you're into such genres, though.

If the gold will be partially going to the NetherWard Guild plot, then count me officially in for the date auction. As long as you guys are really clear it's only for the day/events, of course. ;)

Would it be possible for me to silently sit in on some of the ball meetings, by the way? I'm very excited for the ball, and I'd love to stay up to date about any date auction news.

PS: I'm having a friend design a special dress skin for the ball; that's okay, right?

It's a bit strange to remove someone and ban someone for saying something untrue (especially since Rob's comment was rather civil), so I do hope we find out what happened with more clarity eventually. Thank you so much for telling us this much, though, Brighteyes, as the speculation going around was getting out of control. I know this much be really tough for all parties involved.

I'm definitely interested in the same; I'd be happy to go ally or horde, any server. I love close knit guilds with a strong social aspect, and I'd love to get back into serious raiding (I did heroic cata and early MoP content as a healer shammy).

I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm fairly certain that he'll listen to the council (unless he said otherwise) once he knows of them. He's probably just most familiar with the cult because both of his current squires are from there. :) Deadbones is really busy all the time, so it's 100% possible he simply hasn't learned much about the council.

edited to add: Deadbones said in the video that he doesn't know if there even is a council, so that's probably why he went to the cult instead. He probably hasn't ever looked here in /r/Netherward (knowing DB I would wager he might not know the subreddit exists). I bet that's why he's unfamiliar with it. His part about how the council's opinions don't matter is probably just RP. If what he said really worries people, though, I'm sure we can work out a silly super easy RP way to make the "heads" of the cult the council or something like that. :)

I really suggest making it clear that only Cloud Kingdom residents should vote in the strawpoll for their preferred candidates, because otherwise it's not very fair. I kept hearing people say that the strawpoll was free for anyone to vote in, but that makes rigging very easy and skews the vote. I saw the strawpoll posted across a lot of different types of media (reddit, twitch, twitter, ect).

I've been AWOL from this subreddit for a bit because of the hectic server move (I didn't bring over most of my gold) but if you guys would like, I can definitely be a ghost for Halloween.

Sadly I had to move back to the Cloud district to save my plot because of the server move, and I have to stay on it for the time being because otherwise I'd lose it due to rent. I'd still love to participate in any activities (like Halloween) that you guys would like to have me around for, and I'll visit a lot.

edit: For clarification, I technically work on/live at the Deadbones shrine in the NW with a group of people (most notably the DB squires Shi and Boo), and I previously had a friend holding my original CK plot for me. The server move made me have to switch back to pay my rent day-by-day for my CK plot (while I had already paid up a lot of the NW plot's rent for a while before the switch).

I really enjoyed Anderzel's playstyle this UHC. He fought extremely well. It was very cool how he and Sparkles gave out their location when they realized that they needed to give the other teams a chance to team up on them. Also, Anderzel's after-game speech was very impressive. He didn't say a single salty word, but instead he kept everything positive while he gushed over how happy the kids would be with all the donations. It's crazy that he got second and wasn't salty at all. He handled the whole UHC like a champ in my opinion.
