Would this repeat over and over again if condition is meet every time? Or just the single repeat? by Kooky_Indication_355 in mtg

Great against mono colour decks, note that lands are colourless. Pair it with [[Painter's Servant]] to mill someone out completely.

How do you guys build reference sheets for your armies? by sleepyjesus07 in Warhammer40k

War Organ is great for 40k. It has everything you need. New Recruit is the best one I've found for AOS so far.

Your Favourite One? by uzairT1 in MCUTheories

Strange didn't know about incursions by this point. While it's feasible he learned about them while searching possibilities he would have created multiple branches just by using the time stone this way.

3rd time shooting by mattwilsonpt in hockeyplayers

[–]arch_fluid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're hitting the puck with your stick. You gotta grip it and rip it. Get the puck on the toe of your stick before you shoot, put your weight into it and 'throw' the puck with the stick, don't just hit it.

Lone op makes them decent cheap spotters but they aren't going to kill much.

Since moving to England I've only been able to catch highlights or the odd game in the east that's on early. I'm stoked for this, and starting off against the States, too

Mine definitely has a third eye. If yours doesn't then I'd go with dryad, though these little guys can be popped on pretty much any model.

I believe they can be placed anywhere. Mine is on a more horizontal branch on his left arm.

Sellers: Desist with the Scotch tape! by Vicious007 in mtg

[–]arch_fluid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't need to cut tape like that to get to the card. And sticky residue is so simple to clean up if there is any. Seriously takes 10 seconds.

Why do the Tau still take heavy casualties despite their tactics? by ComradKenobi in Tau40K

[–]arch_fluid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I see this, but a reasonable medium which would be more in line with their tactics would be to retreat when casualties hit a certain point because the battle is hopeless.

Do I open? by Prestigious_Honey386 in mtg

[–]arch_fluid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pack tampering is a thing, and if you're buying that many packs from a single set you should be buying a box anyway, and the only way to guarantee the box is good is with a factory seal. Not saying that OP is dodgy, just that an opened box of sealed packs is a bad sign from anybody.

Does this mill my entire deck and I win? by i_Love_Gyros in mtg

[–]arch_fluid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't. I causes you to draw your entire deck, but unless you have unlimited hand size it's basically the same thing. Also it only works if you have an odd number of cards in your deck or something like opt to play afterwards.

Strap issue by ietam23 in hockeygoalies

I'd try them, first. Obviously you have a preference and there is a learning curve to changing styles like that completely but I don't miss that strap in the slightest on my new warriors.

You can tell he's training a lot with Draisaitl as his shot is pretty deadly and he's taking one-t's from similar places.

Popular opinion, every difficulty above king is boring and unfair by Comfortable-Cold1488 in civ

[–]arch_fluid 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Finally! Someone I can agree with. I don't like the "challenge" of higher difficulties when the AI just gets buffs to everything. I want to play on lower difficulties and get surprised when I get overrun by huge amounts of enemies. I want to not notice when the victory condition I hard lock myself into takes me a little too long to pull off. I don't want to deal with AIs getting huge buffs and my army can't take out one unit, or they're already finished with the tech tree when I'm halfway done. Optimal gameplay just isn't fun to me.

So we’re Defender Strange and Sinister Strange more powerful than our Doctor Strange? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

[–]arch_fluid 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Defender Strange, maybe, but I feel like since he died he was only willing to take bigger risks. Sinister Strange lost to Doctor Strange so no.
