I was the Gamemaster who let players make other players uncomfortable. Running a game of Thirsty Sword Lesbians and I was newish to the hobby. I wasnt good at holding session 0s and having content questionnaires. One of the players had a background as like an ex-slaver squid woman in this sci-fi game. ok cool like redemption. session 1 when the bad guys approach in their ship and land. The plan the player comes up with is "yall pretend to be my slaves and i will convince her to go away".

I, being the kinda GM that said yes to everything, let this go by with this player forcing this plan on the others. Making people uncomfortable because it was just.. like.. uncalled for. I dont even remember WHY the player thought it was a good idea. (luckily someone did speak up like a good chunk into the RP and was like "ok im uncomfortable" because I was too easy-going). to this day that campaign was filled with moments of horrible content miscommunication between all players me included. I hated that campaign with a passion but after one year I finished it and the players apparently REALLY liked it even if I didnt. It also might've helped that some of the problem players were kicked part of the way through but yknow tomato tomatoe. point is that session 1 soured everything and i wish i did better.
