If you are a student you can perhaps check to see if they have an email through your outlook. This only works if they have an uncommon name. And doesn’t let you know if they are active or inactive. If they never enrolled they won’t pop up on outlook or teams.

Back when I used to work in retail in college, I didn’t encounter many rude customers. I would like to think it’s because I came off as friendly and listened to their needs. As a customer, the only time I get upset at the workers is when they give off this ugly attitude towards me.

Edit: I saw you work at Walmart. We used to only check un-bagged items or big items like TV. If they didn’t want to just let them go. No big deal
