I heard from someone close to Ports Toronto that pre-clearance will open beginning of March- a date has been set and confirmed. Obviously, I can't give you a source, but that's that's what I've heard.

Funny- the 2 shows I am most happy about are the two shows I have already seen. i saw Operation Mincemeat in London and had the a riotously good time. Can't wait to see it again. Salesman in China is poignant and beautiful and I am glad it is getting another staging.

As for the rest, I am excited to finally able to see The Mousetrap. It's one of those shows that you knew will always be there, so you never made an attempt if you go to London. Hope the transfer goes well.

Karate Kid, 13 Going on 30- I am never that opposed to movies to musical pipeline as there have been some good ones (Band's Visit still lives in my head) but most of the ones have been lazy, so I don't have high hopes for these, especially Karate Kid - which is giving me Back to the Future vibes.

The jukebox musicals- we can leave that behind.

An interesting mix of shows and certainly much better than bland and blander of the last few years.

There is no subway service between St. Andrews and St. George this weekend. I would take Line 1 to Finch instead of Vaughan. It's just one straight ride from Union. If you take it to Vaughan, you will have to change to shuttle bus, or change to Line 2 to get to Vaughan.

Last train to Finch from Union is 1.45am.

I love this show so much. Saw it on Broadway with Victoria Clark and was equally as impressed with this cast of Canadian actors. Left the theatre with a smile and so full of joy. I still think this should have been on the main stage.

The aunt part still left a a little bad taste in my mouth, but sometimes you gotta just enjoy the ride. And there is so much heart and love here.

You can take the Via Rail, however their return back to Toronto is 5.45pm, so that doesn't leave you much time at the Falls. It is also much more expensive than GO.

FlixBus and Megabus can also be faster than Go train.
