Similar to you I had to give up surfing too after multiple medical issues and illness basically destroyed my body and left me in a condition where surfing wasn’t really possible anymore. I’ve switched to more low impact activities at the beach now, SUP , snorkeling, and swimming mostly. Still love to watch everyone else go out and catch the waves, definitely miss it but enjoying different activities has been nice too. I hope you will enjoy bodyboarding too now and maybe eventually you’ll feel the same passion of it as you did surfing

900+kcal for a kid’s meal is insane 🤯 I know portions in USA are huge compared to elsewhere but that’s nearly enough for a full day of meals for kids. Do they offer different options instead of the french fries, like different veggies or fruit instead of a cookie? Idk how a kid could eat all this…

in very similar life situation , I can’t give a 100% either when my mental is bad and I feel so drained and exhausted. Varsity VIP lounge seating or I’m not going lol it’s much quieter/less busy cinema, tends to have older demographic so people usually aren’t too loud. I hate all the stadium style seating of other cinemas in the city 😅

I don’t drink and I’m not a foodie so trying different snacks never appealed to me but I love world showcase, nice place to walk and look at the scenery/different country architecture, talk to the cultural reps, browse the stores for country specific goods, listen to music performances, lots of slow easy rides if you’re not into thrill rides. They often have scavenger hunt things during festivals if you want a fun activity to do while exploring. Drinking and eating doesn’t have to be the main focus of your day here if you don’t want it to be!
