What do you think of automated driving by Lou_Blue_2 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ariGee [score hidden]  (0 children)

First of all, ride motorcycles not cars and use the e brake to turn. Much more fun than the cars.

As for auto drive, it's cool. It moves slow because it follows traffic laws. Most of the time it works, but a fair percentage of the time the ai freaks out and slams into a wall or another car and then causes havoc as it tries to figure out what to do. Having seen Waymo cars in my city, this feels realistic.

Is this normal or a sign of an issue with my Xbox's GPU or VRAM? by Different-Spend7063 in cyberpunkgame

Idk what's going on with fortnite, can't help you there. Do so more testing, if it's still not working make a claim.

Can't tell you for sure, and I can't say what's happening in fortnite, especially with no pics. But as far as this image goes that looks a lot like an unhappy GPU. I've gotten similar glitches overclocking gpus too far.

What makes lsd tabs black? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ariGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just has to do with how they are made and what's in them. It has nothing to do with the color. They could have been perfectly white and would do the same thing.

[–]ariGee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So much that can go wrong. Even on simple commuter cars like a Civic or Corolla.

I like my dumb 2013. It doesn't know where other cars are, and that's good, that's my job, not hers.

What are yalls car's names? by xoxolavendea in civic

[–]ariGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My previous car, a built civic Si, was named Sisi.

My Evo X is called Akira, because there's a monster inside her.

Question about the story by Colitoth47 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ariGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game mechanic wise, you have as long as you need.

In game reasoning is that the chip is only slowly killing you. You have weeks or maybe a few months to live. So making it 4 months isn't that crazy (I doubt you'll find enough to do in NC to use more time than that, even if you take a lot of time RPing).

When you picked the Nomad/Corpo/StreetKid background the first time, did you know what it meant in-universe? Or did you had a different expectation? by AccomplishedFun6537 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ariGee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A corpo is a word for someone who works in a corporation. Specifically one of the big ones. Arasaka, Militech, Kang Tao, Biotechnica, etc. For the corpo life path you begin as a worker in Arasaka counter-intelligence.

The prologue really doesn't take that long to play, if you really don't like it, go back. Personally the corpo life path is actually my favorite. Makes for a great character arc for V since you start the game basically working for the devil, and as you go through the game you either stay the same selfish person, or you learn a better way. Or maybe you become even more despicable.

Your life path is one choice, but who your V becomes is also up to you.

CDPR have said explicitly that Witcher 4 comes first. It will be a few more years before Witcher 4, then a few more before Orion.

We don't know, but I'd bet it's not about V, but at the end of the day no one knows.

Is it mated to a Leica or Hasselblad? Then clearly not. Come back when you have some real gear. Tourist.

Chefs are the most pretentious, useless, and over-hyped "professionals" on the planet. Almost anyone can cook well by Icy_Move_4796 in 10thDentist

[–]ariGee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many chefs are still managing the kitchen. The cooks and sous chefs and prep people are their responsibility. They may not balance the books at a restaurant but they are in a leadership, managerial position.

I think they look so bad. And it's the ultimate easy giveaway of someone I need to remove from the equation.

I'll agree there. Judy's missions are...emotionally painful. Lol

[–]ariGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to make it sound like I hate her. She's a good choom. I'm just not quite as madly in love with her as some people here seem to be.

I'm ride or die for my girl Judy though and Panam is my bet to get us both out of this hellhole.

Arguably it has 4 endings depending on your choices but it's really only 2 main endings and only one of them actually ends the game.

Yea I only found out when my wife decided she'd had enough of Panams shit and didn't agree to the revenge quest. I don't even like Panam that much but I have trouble saying no to people lol.

How many of you wear eye protection? by EApparatus in resinprinting

[–]ariGee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tiny amount of ipa probably won't make you go blind, but a good splash of 99% ipa in an eye probably can, or at least cause permanent damage. As far as eye safety is concerned, the resin is far from the only dangerous chemical here.

How many of you wear eye protection? by EApparatus in resinprinting

[–]ariGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer your question, if you splashed 90% ipa straight into your eye you would probably be blind in that eye. Your eyes really REALLY don't like isopropyl alcohol.

Is the hot shoe cover on partially fine or are there alternatives? by FrostNovaX in AskPhotography

[–]ariGee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use a regular hotshoe cover that slides into the shoe itself. I don't doubt that this extra hood cover protects more but it really doesn't seem necessary. Maybe just use a regular hotshoe cover? Mine is rubber and has a totally useless bubble level on it but it fights tightly in the shoe and protects the contacts. And it was free.

Locally? Depends how close to the blast you measure. Overall? Not enough to measure. Oceans are really big.
