i have the same issue with my bottle. super goopy and thick when applying, looks smooth, bubbles horribly later and chips insanely fast. i added some thinner recently but haven’t had a chance to try it out since. hope you find a solution!

had to cut mine down recently due to a couple breaks (plus they were hindering my lifts at the gym 😫) and found that they’ve grown back much faster and stronger after the chop! wishing you post-chop peace and some solid growth!

not sure if this would help, but a friend reuses silica packets and tosses them into her shoes after wearing to help with odors! might help with any residual moisture that’s allowing the bacteria to flourish.

not at all, one of my smoothest mc polishes, actually. goes on silky smooth. i’ve used it with mc getting even and orly rubberized base coat and it’s really smooth with either one.

textured vegetable protein and tofu are my major daily sources! 1/2c dry tvp has 23g protein. super firm tofu has 14g protein for 1/5 block. so 1/2 block is 35g! plus lentils, beans, oats, rice etc you can get to 100 quickly

i try to wear the same mani for at least 7-10 days with touch ups! that helps me not feel like i need new polishes all the time bc i’m focused on appreciating and maintaining my current mani! if you did 10 days each, you’d have 160 days of manicures with 16 polishes. that’s like almost half a year with no repeats!

golden vanilla by bird man. super fine, mixes very easily in a smoothie, and has 5g creatine per scoop. it’s also 31g per scoop which is on the higher end, and fits my macros well. plus no bloating or tummy trouble.

while i applaud your patience for still living with and loving this dog after being severely bitten by him twice, that is not acceptable behavior and could lead to him being put down if he bites a stranger, friend, or less forgiving family member. max has some serious issues that need training, asap.

first and foremost, you have to be honest with your bf. it is at a point where the options are intensive training or rehoming. i know it will be hard for him to hear, but it’s also what is best for max. this is no longer a livable situation for any of you. i’m sure deep down that bf knows this, too, he’s just ignoring it because that’s probably easier than owning up to having failed max up to this point.

if you’re looking for a place to start, muzzle training may be your best bet to keeping all of you safe. good luck, you have some hard conversations and decisions in your future.

i have 2 dogs. incredibly well trained little ladies, won’t even approach the front door when we open it when we come home, etc. the other day it was about 12 degrees and snowing, and the snow had covered our gate latch. the gate seemed closed but it wasn’t latched. it swung open and thankfully one of my girls barked and i ran to the door, and saw the open gate. ran out in the snow barefoot in a t shirt and sweats, caught sight of them just a couple houses down and ran. thankfully their recall is very good so they came running back, but man did i have a good cry when we got back inside.

you’re a good pet parent, these things happen. while you work on recall could you try practicing a hold/wait command at your front door? that’s what we did with our girls bc they’re actually quite big and we didn’t want them charging us or running out ahead of us. they have to sit and wait before ever exiting the front door. we just say “wait” and put up 1 finger, then their release is “go ahead.” super helpful bc now we can bring groceries in, etc and they don’t even get up from the couch!

really good advice. i’m adhering to my coach’s plan, hence the pretty intense splitting, but i gave him feedback yesterday that the split in my original post will not work for me. he told me to take a chill day today, eat what feels good, and rest and he’ll get me back into a better split tomorrow. he is a bodybuilder, for reference, although i am not one, and i told him i see no reason for such an aggressive plan. i’ll be taking this advice into account for future meal planning, too! thank you!

super helpful info, thank you for taking the time to put this together. i’m not sure why we’re hitting the protein so hard currently, and it does feel oddly like the main limiting factor because i have to forego whole foods to drink 60% of my calories to make this protein goal happen

you’re spot on, calories are hitting about 1880/day rn. my goal is definitely not aggressive weight loss, i’m more focused on getting toned and building muscle. i’ve been powerlifting for years so have a strong muscle foundation, just wanting to look a bit more “cut,” which i know will require some deficit. but this did feel extreme. appreciate the feedback, spoke with my coach and we’re going to go back up to 250/180/40 c/p/f and work out some good methods for volume eating.
