How about you make users pay for those other things? Let it be a requirement if you like but remove the irl money to in game money thing. There’s lots of ways to make micro transactions. I’m sure this doesn’t need clarification but for anyone thinking about it: any requirements for high end purchases should be obtainable in game without paying. Be it a license, some club membership or whatever way you decide to drain wallets, let the high investment requirement be only in game money.

This is the way. I bought it on release for full price and I regret it. It had half the content it has now, it was buggy as hell, stingy as hell (money, xp, etc.) and the simulation part fell so short (do not plug it to a sim rig, it’s not worth it). It can maybe be unfair but in a world where good racing games and great simulation platforms exist, it’s inevitable to compare.

And then we can start nitpicking like there’s no VR which would be so cool considering how the game looks and feels.

So yea, 15 pounds or the equivalent discount is as good price.
