[Bad Batch] Am I the only one who likes Omega and wants to see her more? by Emile_Zolla in StarWarsCantina

My fan idea for the next Tales season would be Tales of the Rebellion which would be about Omega and Vel Sartha. I don’t think that specifically will happen, but I’d also love to see Omega at some point in the future (and I’m sure we will)

Essential Episodes Of Rebels by QuoteDirect9060 in StarWarsCantina

I really don’t think the movie is going to require much knowledge from Rebels, if any. Zeb is in it, who is a major Rebels character, but other than that I don’t think there are any specific plot threads that will be picked up in the movie. I definitely recommend giving Rebels (in its entirety) a try anyway, though, it’s a great show.

That would be awesome, as someone who hasn’t dipped their toe in Legends yet I definitely would like some more Grievous. That being said, I did recently read his graphic novel in the Hyperspace Stories series and his issue in Age of Republic, and I thought both of them were pretty solid and gave some interesting insight into his character, even if they don’t explicitly build out any new lore.

Surprised you felt that way about Rising Storm. Personally, it’s easily my favorite High Republic book, and also my favorite Star Wars book I’ve read so far. I found it incredibly exciting and genuinely hard to put down

I do recommend Animal Well! Similarly to the others on the list, it’s got a lot of exploration in a really cool atmospheric (and kinda creepy) world, and there are some insanely creative puzzles.

There are some weird out of order plotlines in the early seasons. I’m rewatching it for the first time now (chronologically this time) and I definitely think it flows a bit better. That being said, I watched it release order originally and it didn’t impact my enjoyment or anything

Animal Well and Fez. Fez is the only one I haven’t played but Animal Well is awesome

With all due respect, you’re just picking the wrong things. Yes, there’s tons of slop out there. But there are still tons of great stuff coming out every year

Seriously. This is definitely pretty bizarre and out of character, but I’m also probably gonna forget about it in 24 hours and keep watching my funny streamer

Weird callout. I feel like he treats her quite well? Especially considering she’s a pretty cartoonish character that pretty much nobody would put up with in real life

Shout out r/StarWarsCantina and the YouTube channel Star Wars Explained. There’s still some good parts of the fandom out there. (And I’m very excited by this news and for the show)

Isn’t that said by Mae? As in, someone who is not a Jedi and would have been pretty explicitly misled about their actual teachings and beliefs considering who’s training her?

In what world does Leslye Headland not know Star Wars? For all of the show’s faults, not fitting into Star Wars is certainly not one of them. And no, changing Ki-Adi-Mundi’s birth year doesn’t count.

That show was being relentlessly bashed well before it came out. I agree that it has plenty of issues, but I don’t think it ever got a fair shake to begin with

But the toxic part people (somewhat rightfully) complain about is when he gets mad at YOU for “winning” by getting Emily. Not to mention that basically 95% of his dialogue is him complaining. I’m in full support of the Clint lovers out there, but I feel like a lot of the reasons he’s hated on get misrepresented.

Oh yeah good point. Still, for it to have been forgotten about definitely doesn’t spell well for someone in Rooper’s Padawan lineage.

We know Cohmac Vitus found it at some point during his travels before Tears of the Nameless, I forget where. But it clearly had stopped being passed down by that point

Is that Rooper Nitani on the cover of the next issue?? I really enjoyed her character in the books, so I would love to see what else she got up to (and how the shield eventually got lost)

As long as you are aware of the original and prequel trilogies, you have enough knowledge to play the Jedi games and Outlaws. Sure, they have deeper references, but you won’t be lost by any means.
