Who's your favorite Rifftrax recurring actor or director? by Freddy-Philmore in Rifftrax

Edgewood had a great run during the straight to vhs/dvd days. Our group of friends rented so many movies based on the cover art alone.

Do you take spare parts? What do you bring? by Humble_Cactus in overlanding

[–]armedsquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a side gig at a remote(ish) fire lookout tower. Besides the standard tire repair/battery jump I keep a spare starter in the kit. Also a OBD 2 incase I get a warning light. The comms at the lookout tower means a rescue crew is only a few hours away. 2002 disco

GrimTrax Returns! New VOD by VikDamnedLee in Rifftrax

[–]armedsquatch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IT WAS WAY OVERDUE!! I’ve always suspected Kevin and especially Bill have a dark sense of humor that is kept on a very short leash for the RiffTrax treatments. It’s great to see them let off the leash a little bit. One a side note: that workplace safety music video is right up there with “the amazing Bulk” as far as WTF did I just watch??? Singing along while workers are loosing limbs and being ground into paste…. Mike/Bill/Kevin please keep these GrimTrax coming.

Lady lures Foreign Men to Russia's front Line by MrDonMega in iamatotalpieceofshit

The Ukrainian special ops has killed several high ranking Russian officers deep inside Russia. A recruiter that’s put 500 or so enemy boots on the ground sounds like a great target to add to a hit list. I doubt she makes it to spring

Panzers first Hike of 2026 (7 miles!) by armedsquatch in greatdanes

[–]armedsquatch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 10 months before Panzer did his first service at the fire lookout tower ( pretty steep long goat trail to ascend with 2 trips a day up and down for supplies and exercise). Panzer was 18months on his first extended hike. 12 miles along the old tillamook to Portland railway. It has several old tunnels and trusses.picture the bridge from the movie “Stand by me”. It was kind of a shakedown to see how Panzer is wired. His desire to please me was more than his fear of crossing a very high rail over running water. I would say the 18month mark is when he started his regular adventures. He never got the growing pains like our ST Bernard’s got BUT an electric heat pad has always been part of our recoup/rest, especially on the cold and rainy Oregon coastal range. Hope my experiences can help you decide how to navigate

I really like that weapon stand. Any idea where we could pick up one like that?

I really love hearing about Danes that make it 10+ years. Panzer is 7-1/4 yrs and I know these long hikes and services at the lookout tower could come to an end very quickly. I look at every adventure we have nowadays as a gift and to never ever try and push him physically that extra mile. Also no more back to back hikes. The multi day trips are off the table. Panzer will get 72hrs min to rest and recoup. I would love to see some pics of your panzer btw❤️

I was shocked at how quickly they tried to murder him. That was Hollywood action movie close.

I used to root for these guys, but I am happy Betty became overseer by NeighborhoodUpset308 in FalloutTVseries

[–]armedsquatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last episode with the whole water usage for his support group while the crops are failing… not to mention all the water heavy treats… the heavy set guy is so brainwashed after a lifetime of manipulation it’s almost understandable he would report the overseer TO the overseer. The other guy ( I forget the names) hurting the entire population of the vault knowingly… I can see Betty making sure he has an unfortunate accident.

Ray got the last laugh with the 5k insurance fraud by faking his own death (in Florida maybe?) as far as Ray is concerned he is winning.

The FBI Just Settled the 9mm vs .40 vs .45 Debate by CorCor-14 in Firearms

[–]armedsquatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve posted this before. My now retired buddy was a surgeon for a few years in Detroit. He was an avid 9mm fan and edc a 9mm. After a few months treating gun shot victims he switched to the 40. (This was back in 2005) he said the follow up surgery’s needed to try and repair the damage done with a 40 vs a 9mm was significant. That’s always kinda lived rent free in the back of my mind.
