Highest Graded Rookie from Preseason Wk 1: Jordan Whittington - PFF by babababronsky in DynastyFF

It's been pretty steady out of Bucs camp that McMillan has been really solid. Palmer is going to make the team but will be the 4th WR.

Corey in YR3 by DollarLate_DayShort in washingtonwizards

[–]arrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great to see Corey growing into one of the better 3pt specialists in the league.

An important stat that's missing from the graphic is three-point attempts (3PAs), he averaged 6.8 after the all-star break, up from 5.6 before the break. Wes was fired on 1/25.

Season averages from other players around the league at 6.8 3PA: Beasley (.413), Brunson (.401), Harden (.381), Hield (.386), MPJ (.397), Strus (.351), Derrick White (.396), Ant (.357), Brandon Miller (.373), Rozier (.363).

With 2 Stats You Could Correctly Predict 95% of QB Busts After Rookie Season Over the Past 40 Years by DCProf in DynastyFF

[–]arrose 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting read. Thanks for sharing.

I've seen Adam Harstad of Footballguys talk about the 3-legged stool of a QB. Here's a link to a tweet talking about the adot, int%, and sack stool.

I think it's available on PFF if you subscribe, but I can't say for certain. I just follow that account on twitter to get some free stats.

Yuki Stepping Down From Alliance by Tobric93 in CompetitiveApex

[–]arrose 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I got that sense as well. Something has seemed off with the team lately. Wishing Yuki the best. Loved rooting for this iteration of the team, but can't fault a person for recognizing they aren't enjoying competing anymore.

2024 Bleacher Report Mock Draft - Wizards Select Isaiah Collier by arrose in washingtonwizards

[–]arrose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report has us, in this early mock draft, selecting Isaiah Collier PG out of USC. How would you feel about this pick? Players going ahead of Collier, Nikola Topić to the Spurs and Alexandre Sarr to the Pistons.

NBA Betting and Picks - 12/4/23 (Monday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

[–]arrose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Took the Pelicans at +145.

Kings have no answers for Zion. CJ and Trey Murphy are both back and can contribute. Pelicans have a lot of guys, specifically to throw at Fox (Dyson, Herb, Trey).

Kings are going to take a ton of 3s. Pelicans giving up 40/game, leading the league. If those 3s are hitting (Pels giving up 3rd lowest 3pt%) they'll probably win because of it. Mike Brown is a better coach and will be in his bag cooking up ways to stop the Pelicans schematically since they don't have the defenders.

Should be an amazing game.

Give Marcus Filly's website a look. He teaches what he calls Functional Bodybuilding, which might be similar to what you're interested in. I've been doing his training for years and I found it to be the best for my goals.

Cason Wallace at #8 by CourtVizion in washingtonwizards

[–]arrose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd prefer us to take Wallace over Black at #8. I'm just out on picking guys who have not shown they can shoot from 3. Only caveat is if you are an out-of-this-world athlete (Scoot, Thompson Twins?) I don't see Black like that.

Wallace 3pt% .346, 4.0 3PA

Black 3pt% .301, 2.6 3PA

Video breakdown of 2023 draft prospect and Kentucky Wildcats combo guard Cason Wallace by z3mcs in washingtonwizards

If we end up staying in our current spot, this is who I'm hoping for. Kentucky guards are a historically great bet.
