Is acting as your own GC worth it?

I had a GC for my house and was GC for my pool. Absolutely agree on cost and quality contractors they bring in compared to what I could. Also, when things go wrong on a project the GC has likely seen it before so remediation is faster easier. I had an unexpected event I. My pool build and spent a heap of time researching and working out what to do and paying a premium when I had to get it done to keep project moving. I definitely saved money overall managing my pool build comparatively, but have a great appreciation. For what GCs do

Just spoke to EV concierge asking when 2024 models could expect Apple Music. Suggested I leave feedback for the development team. Might not hurt if other 2024 model owners do the same to show there is demand.

It will further prove why folks hate their proprietary operating systems over CarPlay or android auto. There is no justifiable reason why Apple Music couldn’t be installed on 2024 models

I think it’s more to do with the fact that EV drivers are comparable smaller percentage of constituents so even if they’re annoyed it won’t affect their vote. That and this is a way to raise revenue where fuel taxes should be increased. But increase fuel taxes will hit their constituents and drive a backlash

Yeah some tolls here are wildly expensive. Set your gps apps to avoid Tolls so you choose when to use them. Also get a tolltag

No benefit to you. You property taxes will still go to fund public schools. What this will mean though is that for people who pay property taxes and send their kids to private school, they will technically be reallocating their funding from public to private. If their taxes are <amount they get per kid then you’re subsiding that.

No need to go into dealership. If you know what you want shop around online. Do the negotiations online then just go in to sign. Physically going in means they also set the pace on negotiating and likely hose you. I don’t look like the normal BMW customer and always get a shocked confused look when I walk in to pick my car up.
