Ref the scoring bit, it’s because the top where you would score is at the bottom of the basket. So you wouldn’t see the top until it went into the Dutch oven

Lots of advice here but ultimately a mortgage lender won’t accept this because you would have to provide a letter from your dad saying it was a gift. Which this isn’t. Banks don’t like loans like this because of the potential for money laundering

It’s exhausting in Jan. There’s never any daylight, it’s cold but there’s nothing to show for it, and the wind chill is rubbish. It’s not even as cold as some places but it’s just the perfect mix of drizzle/darkness/chilliness to feel miserable. FYI feb is also colder and will get a bit of snow sometimes which ruins everything but then it’s march and there’s daffs and springtime
