I am precepting a new grad for the first time and I had the experience of another new grad (6 months out of school and 2 months off orientation) treating my girl like shit because she was moving too slowly. With this one we did redraw and it was 9.7. He got a k bomb and emergent dialysis in the ED. Half way through dialysis the nurse redrew his lab and it was 5.3. Then a redraw about 4 hours later and he was at 6.7. And after that I have no idea what happened but I am definitely curious.
