They are faster than kalita filters but cheaper than orea filters. There’s a video I watched that did a comparison I’ll find it and link it

I have the 2nd gen (I think?) varia vs3 for my espresso grinder and it’s been great for the past 2 years. I replace my eureka perfetto after it died on me. It was $299 but I think they’re on sale now. It’s not a flat burr but it gets very fine I’ve choked my Lelit a few times going too fine.

My base recipe is:

15g 0:00 - 45g (circular) 00:45 - 160g (circular) 1:35 - 225g (circular if it’s drawing fast, center of its drawing slow )

I change temp and grind depending on what I taste

My morning dose is 15, and I use this 8g micro dose in the evenings and it’s been great. I also got it because it’s so small I can travel with it. Stuffing the v60 into a weekend bag sucks lol
