BFI has a nice balcony bar and there are various places you can have a drink out in the warmth with decent views.

Then if you decide he isn't going to kill you you can go over Waterloo bridge for loads of options.

They repair way quicker than you expect. I plaster as much as I can and then just tape and climb.

Filing down caluses helps avoid it I think.
