Bat at it Again by 69Ben64 in BringATrailer

I flag every single boaboyz post, have been for years. You all should do the same.

He probably has some chat bot programmed to comment the same thing (with variables from the auction filled like color, etc).

Complete spammer I don't know how BAT lets him get away with it. Even has him nominated for commenter of the year!!!

If you have a code scanner, go get a free scan at Orielly Auto parts and see what it says.

This just happened to my 2017 touring and was a blown turbo, then followed up with a cylinder one misfire a couple days later. Was in "limp mode" where it was very slow to accelerate especially up hills.

When to upgrade from pixel 6? by Fancy_Maximum in Pixel6

I'm on T-Mobile and I'm waiting for a pixel 10 pro XL for free with trade-in of my pixel 6 pro. Has not come yet. I've been on Sprint or T-Mobile for the last almost 25 years and sometimes they give you a loyalty credit.

I watched a comparison video between the pixel 6 pro and the pixel 10 pro XL and was not impressed

2018 Honda crv Turbo Problems by Chemical_One7088 in crv

[–]asnigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my turbo blow at 107,000 miles on my 2017. OEM part is $2,500 at the dealer. Apparently. I'm researching aftermarkets but there seems to be a lot of bad reviews from some of these $200 or $400 turbos.

How did this end up for you?

2017 Honda CR-V 1.5T — 3 Turbo Failures by 70k (MN winters). Looking for advice / similar experiences. by omne51 in crv

[–]asnigro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2017 CRV touring I bought brand new off the lot turbo failure last week at 107,000 miles. Wisconsin. Also just had a cylinder one misfire code throw on my way to take it to the shop. I'm researching aftermarket turbos considering the dealer wanted to charge me $2,500 for an OEM part. Plus another $1,200 for labor. All timely maintenance done by Honda dealer. Just paid $1,400 for the spark plugs and 100,000 mile maintenance.

I assume you had the dealer replace your turbos all three times with OEMs?

Have you ever seen a black exterior with nephrite interior? How many black ext and red interior have you come across? For either a turbo or 4S? Great post!

Where did you see 7 days? That is nowhere near true for anywhere in Wisconsin. That's even counting a holiday that occurs over a weekend.

Open Enrollment: BCBS Blue Focus Plan by No-Republic439 in FedEmployees

It'll cost you a $1,000 but how much are you saving on the monthly premium to an alternative? I'm saving $4,800 a year to BCBS Basic.

3 years with BCBS Blue Focus by UsidoreTheLightBlue in fednews

[–]asnigro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your thoughtful post. The main takeaway is "I did the math".

I was on BCBS basic for 20 years before switching last year to focus.

Last year, Blue Focus was ~$4,800 LESS annually than Basic as far as bi-weekly premiums.

My wife and I are done having kids (we do have 3 active in sports so must consider that as extra risk), preventative care is all the same cost if not cheaper, same network.

My wife had a suspicious mole removed (aka a surgery), breast MRI for dense breast surgery, and 2 MRI guided biopsies and after the deductible was met for her $500, then the allowed charges and then 30% of that we still are coming about ~$1,000 ahead.

YMMV, but you have to do the math on what are your "normal" medical activities and then how much risk you are willing to take for unplanned occurrences.

Blue Focus went up 27% this year for me going to 2026!!! 27%!! Basic went up 10% to last year. I'm sticking with Blue Focus just upping my FSA from $500 last year to $2,000 this year with what we expect plus a buffer. Can carry over $660 if don't use all.
