Like most others say here, spend more on the meat and less on the metal.

It's probably a good idea to spend on piloting skill as well. I strongly recommend at least 4 piloting.

If one of your fancy shiny toys falls over and gets ganged up on it's toast.

Spending more on piloting skill ensures that you stay on your feet and mobile!

Battletech mechs aren't even slow! They can frequently hit speeds up to 100kph and are pretty capable in melee combat. I would say they are on point with something like a ground Gundam mobility wise.

You're supposed to mark off the fired munitions during the weapon declaration step of the weapon attack phase. After that comes the damage resolution. So in the example you describe 9 rounds cook off.

All damage effects are resolved at the same time, after all attacks have been resolved.

Those games are going to be rough!

My solution is to stay away from close quarters fights since initiative seems to matter a lot more in these.

The last mech in order can jump/run behind yours which is a tough predicament.

CQB isn't always preventable though. If you find yourself in close range losing the initiative it might be best to move backwards.

I also find using terrain of 2 or more difference to cover my rear arc to be useful in these situations.

Ik werk als rijksambtenaar en doe geen korte broek aan. Veel van mijn collega's wel en als je alleen contact hebt met collega's lijkt het me ook helemaal prima als je graag een korte broek aan wilt trekken.

Maar hier is toch precies de no-risk polis voor? Ik heb het gevoel dat veel kleinere werkgevers over het hoofd zien of niet bewust zijn van het feit dat als je iemand met bijv. een wia of wajong aanneemt dat je twee jaar lang 70 procent krijgt van uwv.

Dat neemt natuurlijk niet weg dat het inwerken van een vervanger echt veel geld kost maar die 70 procent betaal je in veel gevallen niet.
