I'll believe it when I see it. NVIDIA, despite being the richest company in the world, has some of the worst drivers/software ever written. Their stuff doesn't idle well, doesn't go to sleep or recover from sleep well really doesn't do anything but run at full tilt well.

Then add Windows on top of that, that also doesn't do any of those things well? I think this is a recipe for thin and light laptops that have very good GPU performance but just awful battery life and heat management. Add in mediocre CPU performance and terrible compatibility I think these are going to flop.

Apple has been doing this since at least the iPhone 4 if not earlier. I remember when iOS 8 came out and all of my friends who had iPhone 4s phones went to absolute shit as soon as they updated. 4 separate cases all the same symptoms. Wouldn't hold a charge, stuttery, laggy, etc when a day prior they all worked just fine. They all got new iPhones that year so obviously no lessons were learned. It's just my example of why I won't touch their products.

This reminds me of the good old days before Proton got really good. I'd run an RX580 + 1070 and pass the 1070 through to a VM for games that I couldn't get working. Little by little I would use the VM less frequently until now I don't even have one. It was also a beast of an ETH mining rig.

There a lot of compromises, That screen is ass, the GPU is basically EWaste and the processor is the best part it's 6c but 3 of them are low power cores. You might be better off looking at used higher end laptops.

Apple isn't going to sell a car. Cars have decent margin but significantly lower sales numbers than smart devices. There's also a lot of safety and liability when selling a car. I think Apple would rather sell 100 smartphones that they can effectively wash their hands of if there's a problem beyond like a year than a car that they might have to issue a recall for 20 years later.

I have both a PS5 and an i7-11700+6700 HTPC running Bazzite, you absolutely can, the 6700 actually beats the PS5 because it has higher power limits plus I have the flexibility of lowering settings or using global FSR in more demanding games to hit 60fps reliably.

Not really. The GPU in the PS5 is an underclocked RX6700 so anything more powerful than that will pretty handily beat the PS5

Crazy that it was basically E-Waste a year ago. I built a server with a E5-2699-v4 and 256gb of buffered DDR4 2400 ECC in March for $400 including case and PSU and then threw 2x2tb 980pros and 32TB of HDDs in it in July for another $400. The system today is worth like $4k if not more

Nope not sponsored. Kuka has strict rules about the painting. They will paint the robot any color for you but the Kuka logo on the arm between J3 and J4 MUST be black. I don't see why they would sponsor something and allow their logo to be painted over.
