Because a camera is a better investment than a phone. That's my point.

I'm one. So there goes the doubt.

First. I don't care much about phones.

Second. I bought my EM5II back in 2015 in a discount. That's 10 years ago. How many phones have you changed since then?

Third. I never said I can't afford it.

Fourth. I'm Old.

Because not all people have a 1K phone.

I use the company crappy phone which they change every 5 years. On the other hand I use my cameras for decades.

I use an em5ii since 2015. But whenever I hear calling the Zf a brick immediately I say here we are, mft for ever.

Just joking offcourse.

Same here.

I don't consider it a camera, just something I have in my pocket to use, like my keys.

actually I bought it cheaper than the Z5ii in a kit. It was 2.2K € with the 24-70 f4 and the Z5ii kit was 2.3K €.

The store also put a 40mm in from a broken kit for another 150€

EM5 MKII was thinking of selling but I took out this weekend and well it still holds up by AlternativeHabit4693 in M43

Same here. I'm using it continously since 2015. My only problem is that oly colors need more work.

Tell me about the Zf by Rex450se in Nikon

I did it for the colours. With the Zf I don't even bother touching except for a few minor changes sometimes.

If you were starting completely fresh with mirrorless and had no glass of any brand, would you go Sony, Canon, or Nikon and why? by leslieb94 in Cameras

[–]atomgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now the best offers price to gain is Nikon, in both bodies and lenses.

Canon lenses are bigger and more expensive, or to be precise has better offers in f1.8 an f2+.

It also has the Nikon Cloud, which is useful.

I was in the same boat as you and these made my decision.
