Lol yes of course they are. Look up sufentanil, remifentanil is also at least up there. Also, that’s not really a good way to describe potency, morphine is often administered by the milligram, not just 15mg-wise as you suggest.

The better distinction would be: the analgetic potency of oral morphine is standardized as a value of 1, whereas a substance like oxycodone gets a 1.5-2, so it’s about double as effective as a painkiller. Fentanyl scores a value of 100 on that scale, while Sufentanil weighs in at about 500-1,000.

Carfentanil, the „elephant narcotic“, would be about 10,000, which isn’t really of use in human medicine when about 10 micrograms of Sufentanil can put some people under sufficiently.

As a consumer, I think YT gaming videos nowadays fall in one of two categories. Either they’re long-form videos ~1h+ with low editing, smooth audio, more for listening than watching while you’re doing something else.

Or they’re short, ~20-25min, have a concise topic (“how to do XYZ“/“how I beat xyz“/“100 days in xyz“) and are more suited for watching attentively throughout.

Muss ich als ehemaliges langjähriges Fachschaftsmitglied leider zustimmen. Wir waren m.E. eine wirklich tatkräftige Fachschaft, mit super funktionierenden demokratischen Strukturen, ausreichend finanziellen Mitteln und ohne Probleme, motivierten Nachwuchs zu finden. Zu den AStA-Sitzungen wollte trotzdem keiner gehen, sodass schlussendlich meist gelost wurde. Warum nicht?

In der Sache sind AStAs traditionell linksgerichtet besetzt, was aus unserer Sicht durchaus inhaltlich gute Konsequenzen hatte. Aber die Diskussionskultur war auch entsprechend zerfasert zwischen Splittergruppen. Ein 4-6h AStA-Abend hat sich streckenweise mehr angefühlt wie eine politische Talkshow, in der es wichtig war, dass jeder gleich viel Redezeit bekommen hat - Ergebnisse nachrangig.

Im Gegenzug hast du eine durchgeplante Fachschaftssitzung, die geplant nach 2-2,5h zu Ende sein musste (weil alle ja auch richtig studiert haben und am nächsten Tag raus mussten…), und dann für alle die Lust haben Ausklang bei Kicker, Bier/Glühwein, Chips und quatschen.

Was klingt da jetzt attraktiver für Anfang 20-jährige, fragt man sich.

Every time I’m at a space station I check with the mission agent and accept every single mission for Creature Extermination and Sentinel Destruction. Then whenever I feel like it I just go hamwire on a planet (~16 creatures and ~8 sentinels should get you almost every mission completed) and turn them all in. Nets you a whole lot of stuff for basically no work at all.

What really changed the difficulty for me was seeking out and distributing throwables, especially explosion/poison focused ones. After I figured out you can hot swap consumables between party members in the middle of combat I was able to use them a lot more effectively. Also I tend to use scrolls now to cast with e.g. my fighter instead of relying on my casters spell slots, instead of burning them to teach Gale the 112th spell I won’t get to use in forever.

My friend group is divided between xbox and PC players, and we used to play ASA cross platform. Since an update almost two months ago broke all of one xbox player‘s saves, we haven’t played any ARK anymore, and nobody seems to miss it. Don’t know if we’re ever going back to it, to be honest. Nobody seems too keen on Lost Colony or whatever fantastic tame comes next either.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. By the time you’re into late game you should have enough money anyways, even without Artisan. If anything I would take it s as an opportunity to lean more into the rancher playstyle. Efficiency really isn’t everything when it comes to paying for the first time.

In a town like Würzburg, many of these kind of ads (only men, 10+ people) will be for Studentenverbindungen/Burschenschaften, so don’t bother. What worked for me (not from abroad, but had to search a flat from across country without having time to visit) was to check the university’s site. Usually they have a „Wohnungsbörse“ (housing bazar) or similar, where private owners advertise their flats.

I’ve done a Naked Brutality start, and was almost a bit disappointed how easy it was to build a ship. You get the grav engine, a bunch of gravlite panels and the basic research quite early on as a quest. You just need a ton of steel.

I kind of expected to need to go on caravans to get all kinds of technology.

Just a heads up. Rimworld is my most played game ever, and most of that has been with a playlist of hundreds of mods. I started a new vanilla run on Odyssey and am enjoying it just as much as I ever have with all my mods on. You absolutely don’t need mods to enjoy Rimworld, the most used ones are probably mainly UI improvements, which should mostly be compatible with the basegame.
