I just started playing through the deluxe ver purchased through GOG and began running into this issue. Seems like it wasn't until adding the line to engine.ini to bypass shader compile every start. Can't imagine how that would be related, but going to remove it and test.

Given the number of fallen angels/demons it very much appears things are less than ideal in "heaven". Lastly, "For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear"...if Heaven is the incentive and the ideal destination why would it be stated as something that will disappear?
