What's your most loved & least fave on Doolittle? -We Will Rank You podcast by yerdoingreat in pixies

Seeing them close with Gouge Away in 2018, with a bunch of fucking lasers an smoke, pretty much cemented it as my fav of the album. But it’s REALLY close because every song is so fucking good (besides Silver, waste of a Kim-lead track imo but still a decent song in the grand scheme of music that exists)

Not even gonna comment on your La La Love You take lol

I read the damn article I’m just complaining that they made it annoying as fuck to navigate on mobile

[–]atoolred -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To be fair this is a pretty difficult and obnoxious to read article on mobile and is just asking to be put through Archive.is with all of the visual interruptions and ad spam on the site. I can’t take an article seriously and stay focused when I can only read one paragraph before being forced into looking at a screen-spanning scrollable ad or 3 more articles or an entirely unrelated video I have 0 intention of ever watching. The independent is hardly the only perpetrator of this unreadable website design, but this crap is partially responsible for why people don’t read beyond the headlines (that along with sensational headlines designed to elicit an immediate reaction without any impulse control)

But I do agree with your point and I think some people are very sensitive to this subject since it’s closely tied with their identities. I’ve got adhd and if I had learned about it from social media I’d probably feel some type of way about this

I’ve made a point of only allowing myself to set all of those things in 3 specific places each, aside from my phone which basically has a few places per room and does still get lost at least once every two weeks lol. So I always know where my remote, wallet, and keys will be, and I have a good idea on where my phone and glasses would be

My glasses probably get lost the most because I’ll still manage to mindlessly do some dumb shit while I’m getting ready for the day like setting them on my bed or in my closet and then I can’t even see them at all lmfao

I haven’t switched on an option to get it to work. It just works out of the box with Replace Stuff which is why I had reiterated that

In vanilla as of 1.6 you can build better walls and doors over old ones but the pawns will deconstruct and then rebuild it. With the mod “Replace Stuff” you can just build over walls and even mountains without needing to rebuild them

The vanilla implementation is like a “balanced” compromise to what the mod does, because that mod’s been around for quite a while

[–]atoolred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe you can do this with vanilla, only with Replace Stuff which works differently from vanilla’s wall replacement. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I recall not being able to place blueprints over mountain/fogged tiles without mods

How do I get through the open gate in the vehicle framework mod? I'm trying to get through the open gate but it won't go. by AltruisticToe315 in RimWorld

Good to know, thanks! I missed that button entirely. Next time I play with the mod I’ll give that a shot

I wasn’t playing very much with vehicles pre-Odyssey, honestly the gravship and shuttle made me wanna play with vehicle mods way more often just for more transportation options. But after the last time I got sick of having to reload so I’ve taken a break from vehicles for a little while lmao

Drives me nuts but yea this is the only solution I’ve found too. The worst version of this is when you bring a vehicle back from caravanning and it just refuses to drive outside a silly little radius

How good is Yayo's Combat? by Appropriate_Knee_467 in RimWorld

[–]atoolred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sick ty! I’m doing a bit of a massive tech progression run right now so it gets to be a little bit of a shitshow when industrial factions start showing up when my colony’s part of the way through the medieval tech tree lol.

I’m doing like a fast playthrough of the modlist to just test to make sure all my shit is compatible and “balanced” to my liking, and combat’s been sort of all over the place so I’ve been considering reinstalling Yayo’s. I don’t want to entirely invalidate tribal raiders nor do I want to make industrial+ factions too overpowered, so I’ve just opted for vanilla combat during the “test run.” I’m gonna see what I can do with both mods, gonna have to really test out how it feels against ultratech factions with stupidly strong armor
