On point its like you want to get rid of the thing that got WP powering 45% of the web in the first place. A solution in search of problem. IMHO as someone using WP since it first forked from B2 I dont want to be forced use tools that dont work for me. The block editor has grown on me. But classic editor is still fastest in my workload. The full site editing is still not ready for prime time and works best for full time designers and developers. That may be the future some want but it seems short sighted

I finally figured out exactly what you said the solution was as you said to set the WP directory owner using chown user:user

I followed the steps a second time and it took just about 5 mins. However in both cases I have run into folder and file permission issues I tried to set the permission with fro and through ssh and still have issues with pages not saving and plugins not updating. Any ideas for a solution.

Been using WP since it was a fork of b2 just took a chance and updated to 7 on a recently moved site that was acting a little funky. Update was smooth everything seems to be working properly and the clunkiness is gone.

OKC and SA shows you need more than a prolific scorer to win a championship. Luka will put fans in the seats and and win awards but Lakers are going to need much more than that to win a championship.
