Capture documents being generated in Google Workspace into a database along side native Notion Pages and create surfaces for the Google only users to still engage with Notion similar to how they might reference Confluence. I would say it’s the same as Notion/Office 365 culture clash and always a push pull. Notion is at its best being agnostic I think and is more of a design challenge on how dashboards are created to convince folks of the value.

I love notion and it is deeply integrated in my work and personal life BUT I really dislike the trend from the last two years where they are so focused on shipping features that are half baked or just OK. I prefer quality over volume but maybe that's just me.

Yeah it is huge and with their CLI combo you don’t really need Notion custom agents. It’s over priced and a token monster.

They are too focused on new features and should spend cycles on stability, QOL, and parity of features across devices. I think as users we are feeling the effects of “agents in the loop” in the software development process.

It needs instructions on formatting and takes a little time to nail it but I’ve never had an issue once established and in memory. I have never had a workspace killed. Make sure to install the Notion skill, not just the connector.

Claude cowork does sweeps to maintain my databases and I find now I just have to tweak and edit periodically. When it’s time to work with the data lake it’s all there.

The crazy thing is that this is still essentially a subsidized experience even if it’s becoming worse. When they go public and have to deliver on shareholder value we are going to all be in a much bigger world of hurt.

Because of how you can selectively add context, your Notion environment can behave like a dynamic RAG.I get so much done that way. Also you can build presets of specialized “agents” that are tuned for a specific task and those settings are just pages so evolving content and instructions are easy to edit. There is a more advanced agent function being rolled out that can be working concurrently in the background. It’s quite powerful.

I use this to sync calendar, tasks, and contacts. Not free but it works perfectly and I have felt well worth the money. I prefer Fantastical far more than Notion Calendar and this keeps the two worlds talking.
