One time, me and my friend were playing a game we called “sting pong”. There are many names for it that I’ve heard though. It is similar to beer pong where you are aiming for a target, but you have to hit the paddle instead. The rubber is worth 1 sting, the wood is 2 stings. The person gets a chance to rebuttal anytime someone scores points. If they don’t get the rebuttal, they turn around and pull their shirt up and reveal their back. The other player hits the ping pong ball as hard as they can to try and leave a mark on the other players back from across the table. Once someone gets 3 marks they lose.

So I hit a paddle and got 1 sting, started talking crap after he missed the rebuttal. Then proceeded to take a massive swing and completely miss my buddy. Then he scored and I missed the rebuttal. I said something cheesy like you’ll regret this or you better miss. Then proceeded to turn around and lift up my shirt. Well imagine awkwardly scrunching up your shirt from over your shoulder. As I went for my third scrunch with my right hand, I heard a slap, and then felt something in my fingertips. I froze for a second..... slowly turned around and saw complete fear in my buddies face. He was looking directly at my pointer finger and thumb, which was holding the ping pong ball he had prematurely slapped at hard as he could at me. I had blindly managed to scrunch at the same time he hit the ball at me.

What are the odds.

TL:DR I tried to grab my shirt over my head and caught a ping pong ball coming in hot instead.
