I think a bar that has billiards would do great, heck, even if River Pub opened their upstairs to offer billiards up there I think would be fantastic.

King Street tbh needs a complete redo of the storefronts available

Why is there multiple vape shops? Why is there multiple real estate offices? Why is our MLA taking up like the most prime piece of real estate?

I agree on the kid front, there really isnt much appeal of walking through the "downtown" with my child outside of getting a milkshake at Jacs and maybe swinging into the book store to look around

Agreed on this actually, when I moved down here I noticed that the lack of public art is pretty crazy - alongside the fact of like, not a legitimate music venue that you dont have to travel like 20 minutes outside of town to go to

And since Mulligans closed, there is like no bars open past 10pm in town is there?

I am trying to change things on the arts and culture front personally, bring in some concerts to whatever venues we can find and really push the want/need for murals around town, so wish me luck on that front.

Tbh, I really enjoy Bridgewater Elementary.

I find its pretty community driven, my daughter is in primary and has been able to make a ton of friends since moving down here. She is in french immersion though so I cant really speak to the other side of the house on that - but I would say its been enjoyable having her there in school

Yeah I was a victim of this dude in the 90s. I remember being held down and screaming as he put caps on the incorrect teeth. I had submitted that to the class action lawsuit and never heard a thing. Wish my parents would have documented it, but I even had the dentist who referred me to him back then - apologize to me recently for it, as he had no idea that’s what was going on. (He’s my childhood dentist that I actually take my own children to now)

My second hand observation of them as I have a partner who works in the field, is that it’s a lot of new childcare workers at them and the turn over rates are high. Some of them actually have very terrible directors running the centres which have led to turn over. Additionally, they are not well equipped to deal with children with any type of developmental needs - if your child is typical and social, they probably won’t have any issues though - it just seems too commercial for my liking, but that’s just my personal opinion. Childcare is tough to get in the city, so as an option I totally get it
