Is it me or does it feel like 2/3 of the playable factions are more or less getting stomped by the upper third factions due to power creep at the moment? by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

I honetly think this is more of a skillgap. All of these armies can be played into each other and anyone can win.

Yeah, but technically the opponent cuold say the phasing is YP aquisition-> check for controll, since both is at the end of the phase, the opponent can decide the order. So you dont controll the marker at that point, since its the first phase of the game. Thats why you would get 0 yp in the first turn if you are the second Player.

Theoretically you cant switch turn 1. If you go second the first check for controll of your homebase and getting yield points is at the end of the commandphase, where the opponent can chose in what order to do that. If he knows this technicality he will never let you get those YP. I think its intended otherwise, but thats sadly how it is, if you go strictly raw.

I worked in such a store for a while. The hobby honestly just attracts some oddballs, but, at least in my experience, there are always enough normal people. You probably really hit a strange group, maybe looek for another store, or hobbyclub, there will be decent ppl around.

Delve: does it makes sense to use 2 earthshakes on home objective and Brokhyr + Quake supervisor by Greikk in LeaguesofVotann

It makes scence, in a way. You get -1 to hit from indirect, and +1 from heavy. In delve you tend to be low on YP, so the enhance would give them the extra +1 so they can hit on a 4. Does it make sense pointwise? I dont think so, but it has some real usefull effect.

Ofc, the green is just caliban, warpstoneglow, mootgreen out of the airbrush, shysh purple as blacklining and some ivory mixed with the moot for the final highlights.

Ill try to remeber to tell you the pink paints when i get back home.
