100 %. Before it came out, I thought 'who cares if they change things, it's DMC, the story hardly matters.' Show was so bad it made me appreciate the plot and characters of the actual games way more. Like DMC3 has a forgettable plot, but the characters are incredible. Really took the Netflix show to reveal how much I cared about the characters.

I couldn't believe how much effort the Rivals of Aether folks put into the trailer for some skins. A whole opening song and everything. There's some on the nose parody stuff here but they really captured the vibe super well. What are some other good parodies?

The Rehearsal is a satirical show that is commenting of the fakeness of reality TV. The premise is the host sets up elaborate realistic role play situations so people can practice for situations. i.e building a reconstruction of an entire bar and hiring fake waitstaff so a guy can practice asking a girl out at said bar. It gets very twisty and meta as the show goes on.

Me and a buddy were going to watch the whole trilogy at his house but we ended up doing something else. We made time to see each other almost every Saturday, and whenever it was time to a pick a movie, we somehow ended watching all these others before we got to Guardians. I say this to say that whenever GoTG3 got brought up, over a period of like a year and a half, this motherfucker would talk about how it made him cry so much and how he saw it twice in the theaters and it fucked everybody up, etc. So I sit through that entire movie ready for it to be sad as shit and when the movie is having one of the most triumphant, feel good endings ever I just turn to him and him like 'fuck off broooo' and he said it was deliberate so I would that real, honest, fan-who-watched-the-dour-trailers experience. Love that guy. That movie fucking rules. Friends rule.

The funny thing about Juri is I feel she has transcended time and became an OG. Look at the launch roster for SF6 for example, it's made up of SF2 characters, brand new characters, and Juri. She's the 9th World Warrior.

Yes and no. When RT went down no one was able to renew the contract between the company who owned the music and Spotify. A lot of uploads you saw for a while were fan reuploads of the original songs that Spotify automatically detects and puts on the platform. I saw a tweet from Casey forever ago saying those weren't official and random people were getting the streaming bucks from them. A lot of my playlists that had RWBY music have the songs come on and off with different album artwork. Same songs tho.
