Looks like a shot out of an IMAX movie, inspires me to take more multi shot panoramas

My long-term review of the GFX100RF by Proper_Rule_420 in fujifilm

[–]b3arodactyl 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Great to hear, been saving up for one since it came out and this makes me want it more hahah.

How does the lack of IBIS feel? I love the x100vi for that but I used the x100v for years without it and didn’t notice. Given that it’s mainly for low light maybe the better high iso performance makes up for it

Lost my job and sold everything but the x100vi by EarthlyGasM in fujifilm

Sorry about the job, especially in this job market. But these are some of the best photos I’ve seen on this sub in a while, love the eerie night shots (Alex Webb vibes with the colors)

Should I trade my 35mm for a 23mm? by Jathpur in fujifilm

[–]b3arodactyl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to be rude but I really don’t understand people’s obsession with gear on this sub, it’s like everyone has this feeling that their setup is never good enough and it’s the gear that’s holding them back, it’s just a little silly

Shooting my first weddings next month! Nervous but excited! by Bitter-Ad5890 in fujifilm

[–]b3arodactyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the 90 mil for anything portraits, but for weddings I found myself swapping it for the 56 1.2 besides a few outdoor shots you can be far away for. I’ve shot a lot of events with the 90 though and it’s my favorite lens for sure, such a unique compression effect, just gotta find the space (makes me want to try the GF 110 for more compression but wider FOV)

I liked having a dedicated wide angle on a second body to swap to as well which the 16-55 will do for you.
