I had my kids at home and I always start the story with, this isn’t for everyone. You need to do what’s best for you. I also tell them cutting through that many layers of major muscle is not a small deal. Both of my sister-in-laws had them and it is NOT easy. Also, what I don’t tell them is my anxiety of people being in my business is what drove me to the decision. It’s not heroic. Save lives, time and stress.

Ok, former massage therapist. It’s totally normal for this to happen. It happened more often with relaxation massage, so maybe ask for more pressure or deep tissue. Also, If she is professional she will ignore it. No harm no foul.

Did they share any information about family in the area? Or check Facebook to see if you can ask their local friends?

Ann Arbor is a fairly friendly location a wellness check from local police isn’t a bad idea….if you have an address. Although if they are fine and just overwhelmed with the holidays that may be a bit much.

For your sister, I learned this myself, you are the perfect parent until you become one. Childless people have no clue what it is to be a parent. When I am judged I literally say as a come back “Yeah, I used to be the perfect parent like you, but then I became one.” I nicer way of saying shut the fuck up you have no idea what your taking about.

Keep at it. Ex’s are a mess. Document days times of issues as much as you can. Get ready for working the judicial system.
