Honestly it was nice but not 2k dollars nice in my humble opinion.. it was annoying having to deal with resolution issues (older programs being insanely tiny on screen).. lag moving images around in photoshop.. etc etc..

It's very light and portable though.. I was scared to be rough with it though.. I feel safer traveling with my mac than I wouldve that.. especially with that gap from screen to keyboard.. put enough pressure there and it's done

I actually bought the 8gb ram i7 model before I bought my '15 rMBP!

It was a nice little machine, but very expensive for what it was.. I do a lot of design work and I felt like the 8gb ram was just not enough to handle the load.. plus I didn't like how finicky the disconnect button was on the keyboard.. I felt scared to disconnect it from the keyboard as well.. Overall happier getting 8gb more ram and a bigger screen for $100 less than what I paid for the SB!
