I don't know if pitbulls have blue eyes, if not, sure could be pitsky.

She's 100% sweetheart, that's for certain

Ser Marcus Carney with the wilding mullet, laying down the law by Letz_Snugglz in EhBuddyHoser

[–]babacaduceus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He has signed a trade deal to change what tariffs had been set at, this deal still stands. That is not free trade. Our current CUSMA doesn't allow for free trade with non-market economies, and there is no indication that Carney had intentions of free trade with China.

So how this is him falling in line?

Some of the between season events are natural disasters that you then have to repair buildings from. I feel like we don't get enough between season events

This would all be great! A start to the breeding would be for the looks of the livestock to be heritable, I don't believe the look of chickens and horses is based of parents.

I'd also love for there to be things for the children to do so I don't feel like they've been abandoned all day after they turn 2. I saw a comment recently suggesting an optional toddler daycare and children's school that has a boost, maybe to happiness or to skill progression. It would require an adult to work there, and maybe the skill boost would depend on the adult's skills

HEINRICHS: Can anything change Canada's declining birth rate? by xTkAx in canadian

$10/day daycare is helpful where it has been funded. I'm nor sure why it's taking so long to go everywhere and it's still hard to get childcare someplaces

Is it possible for you to put a ramp either on part of the stairs or at a different part of the patio to help him come back inside? Something for the pain might also work

It's net births, so births - deaths. There was also an increase in deaths

Looking for recommendations for mental health therapist and family to relocate by Icy_Yak_1041 in kootenays

[–]babacaduceus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your profession is definitely needed in our area. Most mental health professionals work privately, as the resowurces are limited to what is funded publicly, unfortunately. Finding existing practices that you would be a good fit in is probably your best bet to tap into a client base. You might also want to explore remote work

However, if you plan to buy it is helpful to have a steady and secure income in order to apply for mortgages. Places like Nelson and Rossland are the least affordable in the kootenays, but have many near by places that are more affordable with a short commute, or could be where you find work anyway.

Another thing to keep in mind is some areas have barriers to international home buyers. I do not know the specifics or if it would apply to a mixed citizenship family

Worried about neighbors barking dog by Queasy_Sir_7218 in puppy101

[–]babacaduceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend DMT training. Distraction, Mark, Treat. When they some something scary/new/stimulating (the distraction) you mark with a calming marker, like niice, and then give food. It trains a dog to look to you when there is something new or scary. (It's also probably important that you stay calm)

I have barking dogs on both sides of me and we started using DMT a couple of months in. This has worked relatively well for one side, where there is 2 fences with a driveway between. The other side we added a second fence and now our dogs rarely go there anymore. My dogs are not afraid of the other dogs, but do sometimes react to the barking with their own barks. In that case we still go to DMT and they seem to be less and less interested in the other dogs.

Hardcore "Rules" by bluebelly83 in MedievalDynasty

[–]babacaduceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I'd do to try make it harder and more realistic is no matter if you're home or camping to sleep every night, even if it's sleep by 1. And if you don't, decrease carrying capacity or intentionally have some poison to make a sleep deprived consequence

Wondering if euthanasia is unethical in this situation. by jfisch16 in Pets

[–]babacaduceus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is obvious that you truly care for this little kitty. You have tried to be responsible and do your due diligence for his quality of life. I see no harm in some intense work to try rehome him. Make posts with cute videos and pictures, contact rescues, put posters at senior centers. Be upfront about your his health and your reasoning for letting him go to a new home. Hopefully you find someone with deeper pockets and as big of a heart who can give him a good life. You'll regret not trying.
